I don't know whether btc will ever reach ATH again or how long it will take, But i find it very hard to imagine a world where XMR overtakes BTC. The crypto economy is built around btc -

Will XMR stay among top coins in crypto - That's definitely possible, however xmr taking over btc #1 position is highly suspect.

If the sole argument for utility of XMR is in the dark web - that would turn off a lot of institutional investors who were the prime forces behind btc.

I find it hard to imagine a world where established investors and entrepreneurs like winklevoss twins backing XMR because of its dark web utility and the dark web is called that precisely for a reason - It has stuff that is illegal - like totally ethically twisted $hit. Why would any big money back such a project and re-build the crypto economy behind a coin such as this?

BTC has been immune to these types of 'news' stories for a year+ now. The obvious anomaly being c19. But other than that, BTC's short term price action hasn't been greatly effected by the news. Even the halvening had minimal impact on price.

Time for a big correction soon. They can´t hold the market up for much longer. Take into account that covid 19 will likely cause brain damage to a large portion of the human population, so the overall IQ will decrease even further. I guess most of you are not ready to swallow that pill yet, but it´s very bearish for overvalued housing, stocks, and crypto. Overvalued houses in big cities will fall a lot in the coming years.
