Is it something worth trying?
Is it only something you should take if you have specific symptoms?

This. Get your vitamin D in, take your fish oil, eat a diet that actually has fat in it, get a good nights sleep (maybe add some zinc), and lift.
ANYTHING else besides going to the doctor and getting legal prescription is not going to do jack shi+ other than maybe make you a little horny. But most "work" or "help" just by getting you a better nights sleep.MFC

Save your money. Years of peer reviewed and randomly controlled studies have proven testosterone boosters don't produce an anabolic effect. The two supplements that offer a real bang for the buck are variations of protein powder (whey, casein, etc.) and creatine. Stick with the tried and true. Wishing you well.

Besides an increase in libido, not much. Alot of test boosters do increase the amount of free test produced, but not by any noticable amounts, most only by a small margine, of .1 to .5 percent (very rough estimate tho).
If your looking to use one for libido effects then go for it, though a mix of horny goats weed, arginine, and staminol will be just as good if not better than a otc booster.
