Just posting this as an FYI. Saw it on garagegymreviews' IG.

www.werksanusa.com 50% off sitewide. Seems to include everything from barbells, platforms, GHDs and apparel.

I was about ready to pull the trigger but decided against it as I don't do any Olympic lifting.

Yeah, this sale is legit. It sounds like Werksan is not happy with their current US distributor, so that seller is going out of business and they're going to move to another US distributor. They are trying to sell off all their inventory at the current place. If you want NICE bumpers, it doesn't get much better than this sale.

I have no clue about their bars, unfortunately. However, if you are a KG user, Werksan makes the most beautiful chrome change plates I've ever seen:

It gives me no shipping option when I put in for a shipping quote. Says something like 'there is no option for shipping based on your entry.' State and zip both Michigan. I'd like to know how big of a it shipping would be before ordering something I absolutely do not need.

A bumper set with bar is no problem for me... I did not order, but was Very close. It seems the GHD is the main problem people were having.. not sure why.. everything else seemed to work.

And FYI, the shipping is not included in listed price, but with products at 50% off, it's still REALLY good pricing, even once you add freight shipping.

I did some quick math on the bumpers and this sale is better than Black Friday Rogue Hundo pricing with the $5 shipping. The "LionFit" bumpers are REALLY tempting. I wish I knew more about their bars...

Those are some great prices, might be a good time to pickup some cool collars and bumpers.

Ordered some 25kg, 20kg and collars. Shipping options were LTL freight or UPS, all pretty pricey but not a bad deal for under $600, in my opinion.

I can testify to the quality of Werksan's bars and plates, I currently have about 280kg of their Lion bumpers and 40kg of their chrome change plates, yes those change plates are as beautiful as the pictures suggest.

I also have a Werksan IWF training bar, it's an excellent bar, but I prefer the knurling on their older bars. I also have a last generation Eleiko women's competition bar, and I prefer the knurling on this bar to Werksan's current knurl pattern, but of course this is just personal preference.

I knew one of their reps left for another job a few months back and never read much into it, I wonder if something is going on?

I can confirm that the sale is GOOD TO GO! I just spoke with Werksan in Turkey on a call. They are terminating there relationship with current USA supplier because of the past issues. However, they have asked them to sell off the inventory of what they have before they put a new distributor in place. Werksan told me that Werksan USA is staffed for the remainder of the sale to sell off remaining items. I have the direct contact at Werksan in Turkey if anyone has any issues receiving items he said to contact him"

The timing would be odd if they were't going under, but since the deal with Werksan USA is being terminated, now it all makes sense.

From what I've been told, there won't be any warranties, so this is buyer beware. I was also told not to trust these people with my money, so if you are purchasing, make sure who have insurances in place.

I'm ok with buyer beware, it's not much money and a long standing reputable manufacturer, for less money than even Titan. And if they are closing up shop in the US or can't find another distributor, you never know they might end up being a hard to find collector piece down the road. Worse case scenario is that I have to call a dispute in on the CC charge.

Lol, same here. One of the reasons I didn't pull the trigger was because all of my current plates are pound plates.

I would agree that provided one had assurances and a level of protection on this order, rolling the dice on a purchase could seem reasonable. I still say the fact that Werksan Turkey hasn't officially responded both directly or on their own public platform is puzzling. That would squash it one way or the other immediately, and they haven't done so.

I live 20 minutes from Moorestown, NJ. I'm tempted to buy a set of bumpers. Plates look awesome and the price is insane. Plus, I could pick them up. No shipping cost. I dont do olympic lifts though. Maybe I could add power cleans to my routine and use them for bench press. lol

Yes, I'm currently kicking myself for not ordering some bumpers. I hope they come back online. If I lived closeby and could pickup, it would be a no brainer. Bumpers are good for everything man, no need to Oly lift (though power cleans and snatches are pretty fun). I love them for deadlifts and rows as well.

Turkey has been going through a huge currency crisis. The Turkish Lira is down about 40% since the start of the year. They may be liquidating US stock in order to get some US dollars to prop up their business and hopefully survive.

It also said that were over 250 credit card transactions that went through. That was about it, didn't really say any more than that. I'm guessing here, but I think the sale is done.

That's not what I heard what's going on, but it's possible it factored in on a decision. I was told that Werksan Turkey pulled Werksan USA's distributorship and instead of shipping inventory back to Turkey, they decided to liquidate instead.

If anyone can figure out a way to grab the GHD @ $275, that's basically CL prices.

DC Blocks look interesting, but sorta expensive, even with the sale... anyone here use them?

I just know I won't buy something right now and 6-months down the road I'll figure out I needed something and will be paying full price for it. D'oh!!
