Except this has nothing to do with the sport itself. No one here is claiming to care about women's cycling.. it's more that we feel bad for the female athletes that train for years with the dream of winning an event only to get that far and then lose to a man who "identifies" as a woman. Whatever sport it is is irrelevant.

There is no such thing as gender, only sex. Until cultural marxists appropriated the word, it applied ONLY to grammar. In some languages, nouns are masculine, feminine, or neutral.
