    Total Gym - good for building muscle?

    Hi,

    I am addressing these questions to all Total Gym equipment men users, aging in their 30's or 40's. I would like to know if you can build muscle with the equipment or, even at maximum levels, the exercises are too easy (I am talking about performing the exercises, in a slow, controlled, perfect form). Also, does anyone use the weight bar and extra plate weights with the equipment, for harder workouts?

    What is your overall experience in building muscle with this equipment?
