We'll re-visit that decision if the sets start selling better with the new design though.
Does that include the 60 and 70lb urethane dumbbells as well?

    I ordered Matte black...sweet!

I hope u guys reconsider. A number of people prefer to do 5-50lbs and then 10lb increments after that to save space and $$$. So now I'm gonna have to sell my 5-50 set and start over if I want to have matching dumbbells.

Seems like every company selling dumbbells offers complete sets and individual pairs. Even Titan does that, and you guys don't want to be worse than Titan right :-)

I also hope you reconsider, Duke. I bought 5-50 with plans to buy 60-100 in 10lb increments when they were restocked.

For anyone who's received a large pallet order before. Will the delivery guy be able to wheel the pallet into my garage? Or am I going to have to move everything from the sidewalk by hand?

I just received a 1075 pound shipment from repfitness via R&L Delivery. Due to the size of the pallet, I carried a few of the items in and then they were able to wheel the rest into the garage for me.

Depends on the driver. Typically, they'll wheel it wherever you want with their pallet jack. If it requires anything more than them pushing the pallet jack, you'll likely be on your own.
You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.

What did you pay for? Lift gate? Inside delivery?

Having 21 years in LTL freight, YOUR attitude will make all the difference. You ordered the ****. It's fitness equipment, stands to reason your in some sort of decent shape. Make it obvious your not just going to stand there and he'll most likely help you.

I have a short driveway. It's only like 25-30 from the garage with a small incline. But the order is probably going to be 1200 lbs+. I suppose if he pulls and I push it might work, but not sure how difficult it is to push 1200 lbs up the small incline. I suppose as Rakshar said I could manually move a few items by hand and then push the rest if the driver will have it.

Did you actually go through your entire delivery to make sure nothing was missing before signing? Not sure how I am suppose to know how many boxes Rep packed everything into.

With some freight companies, if you sign the waiver regarding potential driveway damage, they will back the truck up and deliver to your garage. As Chadsalt stated, your attitude and willingness to help makes a big difference.

Of course you have an option, help or stand there. I've dropped freight in the driveway and drove away from many a smart ass lazy SOB over the years.

Freight should have a packing list with a piece count. Freight company signed for X pieces when they picked up. You're signing for X pieces when they drop off. If it's short or damaged make note and get a claim number from the driver, after you sign it's all on you.

Well If I don't help, that's exactly what you would do. So not much of an option IMO...lol

I've received a 650 lbs shipment from Rep in San Jose, CA. The pallet was all messed up with three 2X4s barely holding it all up. The poor delivery driver had a tough time getting it down on the ground from the truck but he seemed to know what he was doing. I offered him help but he flatly refused for liability reasons. I asked him nicely if he could drop it off inside my garage and he agreed. The whole thing came apart inside the garage. We had to prop up the pallet on paint cans to get the pallet jack out. I tipped him and thanked him profusely. He finally asked me what the shipment was and I sheepishly answered! The inside contents of the shipment was all intact and undamaged.

@Supadude, where are you in CA? I hope you are in San Jose so you can order something for me from Rep and save me shipping charges!

I've had a few freight deliveries in my lifetime. I've always offered to help but every time they tell me to stay away for liability reasons.

They will not ...they will either drop at start of driveway or to the garage door. Most wont bring it into your garage...

    Technicalities

Correct you can't get in the truck, and stay out of way with a lift gate. Once it's on the ground rolling pallet jack I dont expect to have to ask you to help push your 1000# wherever it's going. Or if no tailgate and boxes are lined up on end of truck...get your stuff.

Well you must have one smooth clean place to roll. Out of a polished warehouse floor it takes very little grade or grit to make 2k virtually impossible to move, and I'm a pretty big guy. I sure wouldn't do it by myself.

The delivery came with an inventory list and the boxes are labelled relatively well. It took a little while (roughly 5 minutes) to go through everything (roughly 25 boxes or so) to ensure I received the entire shipment. I did tip the delivery driver $20 since he was very nice and helpful.

Sacramento, and not planning on making another order any time soon. That ship has sailed $5K is enough....

    At least until next year

So I'm guessing that my 1.2K+ order is not going to roll up my driveway?
