[QUOTE=Supadude;1598174721]OK, here's a few pics from my haul

Other than what is shown everything else was pretty much flawless, with only a few minor scratches or marks.

Not enough for me to bother sending them an email complaining but just shows a lack of attention to detail. My dad got the same bench and had the same problems as well. Nothing close to Titan but I wouldn't want to be lumped into that category if I was Rep.

Overall, for the price savings, it's still worth it to me to deal with the chance of defects.

Also, I'm not completely certain that Rogue doesn't have issue of their own. I have heard that have their own share of quality issues as well.

Congrats on the setup! Definitely contact us for a credit or other options on that upright.

We agree that we have room to improve, and that other companies aren't perfect either. We're no exception. At the same time, I don't think you should have to pay a 30-50% premium to avoid scratches on what you buy from us. It has been frustrating to see a similar story time and again: Products are great, but occasionally we see damage that looks like it happened before it went into the box. This obviously needs to improve, so we've taken steps to do what needs to be done.

We implemented a very big change in Q3 of last year in our production processes to improve quality control. Without getting too deep into the weeds, we'd made many incremental improvements over the course of the last few years, but at the end of the day if the factory you're working with doesn't have quality ingrained into their way of doing business, you're swimming against the tide. We now have a permanent office near our major factories with a team of full-time staff to handle things there, as well as a new factory partner who has met our quality standards every step of the way. They understand we're going to be ruthless now if we run into any quality issues. Please keep emailing our team at Rep or PM'ing me as any of you see quality issues, because these pics get sent right over to our quality team.

You will start to see the fruit of last year's work starting now, and by June time frame, these reports of damage will be extremely rare.

One other cool thing in the works is that we've been expanding our engineering staff here in the U.S. office, and there are a ton of new, innovative products in the works. You should see a steady stream of them this year, ramping up more as the year goes on. Those of you with our 4000 and 5000 series power racks should be quite happy

Can't wait to see what you have coming down the pipe. Keep the innovation coming. This is what will set your company on fire, and the primary reason why I went with you guys vs. other companies.

Hey Duke - I see the PowerSpeed bar is back in stock with stainless shaft. Are the sleeves stainless? How does the knurl depth compare to the Power Bar EX?

In some cases it seems the shipping is fairly reasonable and the overall cost can be less than a comparable item from other companies that bake in shipping. I haven't been able to get anything from Rep yet but am going to try to talk some relatives into grabbing a few things for me as they pass through the area soon.

Hey Duke, any eta on when the 45lb Equalizer plates will be back in stock? Also, what is the weight tolerance %? I'm looking to freshen up my plate selection at home and it's between equalizers and Rogue 6 shooters.

Says within 2% on their site. The description takes a bit to load for me and it's below the various weight options.

If they are anything like my Equalizer set they will be VERY accurate. Only real issue with mine was the QC on the paint/finish, but other than that there isn't much to dislike with these plates. The center holes are very precise for barbell work, almost to the point where it makes them a bad choice for some plate loaded machines LOL.

Got my Rep Urethane set complete. 5-50 in 5lb increments and 60-100 in 10lb increments. Also got my new storage unit installed. Very happy with the end result.

Thanks, man. With the storage underneath, I’m definitely capturing some extra space. With the wall control unit that’s going up this week, I’ll get a lot of other things off the floor too.

    Racks

Will REP custom cut the uprights of their racks? I know other companies will, but haven’t been able to get ahold of REP yet due to the current health concerns. I’m looking at the HR5000 or the PR5000/4000 and they are all unfortunately too tall for my space. I have at most 80” height and really like the looks of all 3 of those products.

    Thanks!

Modularity for the flawless victory! Nice DB set and also dig the barbell holders attached to the DB rack.

The storage rack is from Sorinex I believe. I did consider it but too damn expensive for what it does. Only if they off set the holes on the uprights sides it would add more space .

I think Rep is doing that with theirs PR5000 and PR4000 Series.

What did that storage rack run you if you don't mind. Seriously has me contemplating trying to find the space for that in my garage and I already have Powerblocks and Ironmasters (though this could be a good time to flip the Ironmasters...)

One of the main reasons I went with it was for the ability to daisy chain some of their other pieces to it, specifically the functional column and lat pulldown units. I’ve since decided to go with the Prime Fitness single stack column with lat pull low row.

But very happy with the Sorinex. Same scheme as my rack, which was also an important factor for me.

I went with 4-tier height so I could get the storage underneath. That pushed it up to $1,600, which doesn’t include shipping.

I really like how clean of a storage set up that is with the space below it for spotter arms and bench

    That's a thing of beauty.

I'm building my garage gym back up. I went with the Rep PR 1100 rack in black. Tough it's a rack that doesn't have all the bells and whistles more expensive racks have I'm glad I went with it. I'm excited to add more Rep Fitness equipment to my garage gym.
