    Adding 2 sets of lateral raises to fierce 5 U/L?

    Could I add 2 sets of lateral raises to Fierce 5 U/L to either the upper A or upper B? What's the worst that could happen if I added them? They're small isolation exercises so I guess I wouldn't expect them to significantly throw off any balance?

    It's not really following the program as written, now is it?

    With that out of the way...I add stuff in that I want to do, if there is time left in my window of workout. Just make sure your Pull to Push ratio is ok

    The primary shoulder movements in the program are military presses, incline bench, 2 rear delt exercises. Rear delt work is sufficient and the former 2 exercises hit the front delts pretty hard, with a lesser emphasis on the side delts, so there really isn't much side delt emphasis in the program.

    I had replaced face pulls with rear delts flyes, but I am in the process of switching it back to face pulls (still need to learn how to do these correctly). But aren't face pulls mostly for rear delts? Or is there a variation that emphasizes side delts?

    Pull the rope or band apart at peak contraction.
    Lights side delts right up.
