    weighted pistol squats

    I'm asking the "strongmen/women" now: Are weighted pistol squats just a test of strength? Or can someone gain muscle mass from regular usage? Can they help increase sprinting acceleration or speed? Are the glutes and hamstrings activated as much as the quads in pistols?

    I read somewhere that they are pretty bad for your knees and ankles, since they force to move in your knee in order to keep your balance.
