Level 43 and in Sparta. Just finished the traitor missions and about to his some side quests for more XP. Still haven't gone back for that damn Minotaur, but getting closer to trying again. I get impatient with the world bosses. Fighting for 20 minutes is insane.

Level 47 and think I'm getting close to the end........maybe. I maxed out the shield break ability and had to laugh when you knock a guy across the screen now with the full force. Between that and the explosive arrow shot it makes things interesting. I've also been adding fire damage to whatever I can.

Around level 30 now. I skipped the main quest line and just went exlporing and ass kicking. Now I found out I might be locked out of completing some of the pirate quests because I looted some chests before I had the quest to do them. Sucks. I guess you should follow the main storyline first then go out and clean up the side quests. Clearing islands before you are supposed to be there can cause some glitching.
Man that hulk mode in the warrior tree combined with the super 3 bar power attack that you can chain onto multiple enemies is just brutal. I'll just run into a leader house and take him and all his bodyguards out in a couple attack sequences. Ezmode for sure.
I had been using mostly swords and daggers and they just can't compare to the big slow heavy weapons with those attack chains.Motorcycle crew

I've always ran AC by starting the main quest, but once I get to an area, I'll do the side quests in that area before finishing the main. Seems to workout plus I get levelled up a bit more. I'm far into the game and I just finished the Prince of Persia side quest. Since it has you travelling all over the map and syncing with certain monuments and then going back to the old blind guy it takes forever if you are not just out exploring. I avoid naval missions for the most part since I'm not a fan of the ship parts. Never have been even when AC3 started that trend.
The glitching is killing me though. Game starts freezing at points. Last night I was on a main quest to kill 4 champions that were helping Athens and the last one was also a cult member. When it came time to confirm the kill it didnt give me the option to. I had to close the game and start it back up. Fortunately it dropped me right next to the dead body and I was able to confirm the kill at that point.ErgoGenix ErgoZzz log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=167645251&p=1365912691#post1365912691

45 hours in, level 36...barely scratched the surface of the game it feels. Could the world be too big? So much to do in this game!!!!
I love how all these islands have there own look and insanely awesome side missions with story lines that could be the main story and it all leads to cultists it seems.
Cannot wait until whatever the next AC game is.Race: White

Still trying to get the last of these trophies. Insane grind. I'll have to check but certainly near 100 hours. Started using a guide as some would take forever to get on the right path. Some I've yet to figure out why they haven't popped.
Still have the Ultimate edition RDR2 sitting here unopened. :/US Marine Corps Vet 8 years ( 92/00 ) - Semper Fi - ★cVc★

Game is losing a lot of steam for me. Around level 30 the beautiful scenery started to lose its luster after the 10th different country I went to that had the same temples, forts, caves, and quests. I'm 40 now and the levels are coming slower. I don't even know if I want to bother finishing the game. I did two of the Atlantis quests and they were fun, but not sure I feel like another 20-30 hours of grinding tons of more bullchit quests just to see those last 2 fun ones.
I did the first couple arena matches, nothing really challenging and they don't even level scale like most of the rest of the game.
I have almost all the combat abilities unlocked so nothing else will change except upgrading the spear and unlocking the 3rd level of each. I think the game has way too much repetition and no real challenge past level 30. It's just a grind at this point with no real payoff in sight.
I had been playing the game on hard mode and it was fun and challenging. I had to reload a lot of fights especially with gold same level bounty hunters frequently attacking me from behind. Naval combat on hard is just ridiculous. You can barely take out one enemy ship where some missions throw 3-4 of them at you at once. So any time I hit the boat I switch to easy mode and just plow through whole fleets of enemies at once.Motorcycle crew

The game screen has missing location icons. No wonder you cant get chit done, lol. I'm tracking the under water locations and using a guide map to find this out. You get close to the area then a ? pops up...
My under water breath meter doesn't show up often when diving, lol. :/US Marine Corps Vet 8 years ( 92/00 ) - Semper Fi - ★cVc★

I do like the game. I've already invested like 70 hours in. I couldn't stop playing for two weeks. I'd wake up in the middle of the night and play. It's beautiful and combat is very fluid. Character animation is ridiculously good. If anything the world is just too big and there is too much to do. At the end game it gets a bit too repetitive. Everything is beautifully rendered but nothing really stands out as different. Even the pirate town looks just like everything else. NPCs don't have much character outside a couple from the main quest line.

I just finished the main story about an hour ago. I still have a bunch of islands and support quests I can do. I've got about 25% of the map still not discovered. It's crazy how big it is and a lot doesn't even fall into the story.
Overall I love the game, but I hope the next one comes back in line with the story of the assassins. Outside of the first civilization, this played zero into the theme. As long a Ubisoft doesn't keep swaying away, these games just keep getting better.ErgoGenix ErgoZzz log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=167645251&p=1365912691#post1365912691

This is a nightmare that never ends. Have your Google device ready because you will be using it a lot. I'm still trying to kill all the Cultist. You'll be down to the last few too. So much repeating chit. Trying to figure out how what when and where. I could easily cross 150 hours playing this hot mess. The main story seems to be 50% of the game only.

I have a bunch to still kill. I'm not a fan of the "find clues" mess. Once you can uncover them its easy to find them on the map, but getting to that point has been luck I think in some cases for me. Other than cultists, I have the atlantis missions (3) left and one from the sculptor to to interact with 3 statues to get notes about someone conspiring against him. The main story was definitely only a part of the open world game.

I'm mostly warrior for fighting. I use swords to build my rage bar then once its up I switch to 2h axe and smash faces with the overpower ability. I have the engraving for +100% dmg that reduces me to 25% health but I use it with the 20sec invulnerable ability.
I just killed my first cult leader in the siver mine group. After I killed those 5 cultists she just popped up as a random citizen walking around athens? No quest, no buildup. Just walk up to her, hit assassination, dead cultist. Seemed a bit of a letdown.Motorcycle crew

I'm trying to find the last 3. I dont even have the quest line side missions on my map to bring them out. The slave owner Cultist in Attika. Done most everything else in the game. Every time I play a AC game. I worry about something going wrong and no 100% will happen, lol.
Reading through this now. Looks like quest behind quest behind quest to find him.

I found an easy way to grind 46-50. Finish the arena quest and you can repeat all the fights but all the bosses are level 50 and you get 70k xp per fight the first time then 35k xp repeatedly. Fight the first guy the prince of theives or whatever. His waves of fighters are weak with no shields and go down fast.
