Today im a bit confused by my weigh in.
Todays weigh in; 204.8
Thats a loss of -3.5 lbs from the weeks starting 208.3 (ive been cutting for ~6 months solid, so this kind of loss is out of the ordinary to me)
The last week of the previous challenege i weighed in around 205-206 for a few days which was a lower number/quicker loss than usual, then the official weigh in day i went back up to 208.3 - which i used, and i decided to eat at maintananace for a week after that, so.. 3.5 lbs is a bit of a surprise (which i dont expect to be permanent and is just water weight ) will see what the next weigh in comes in at.

I think I'm ready to get back in . I'm glad to see that these are still going on. I have been away for over year. Due to our House flooding due to hurricane Harvey in Houston last August. It has been a long stressful year but we're almost done with our house. Stress and a lot of comfort food and comfort drinks made my weight go up. I'm ready to get back and drop a few pounds. Not sure about time to work out but I am going to get better on my meals. Harvey caused us to loose half our home all down stairs with no flood insurance, a car, and my job of over 30 years. Only direction was up since we were down on the bottom. I was blessed with a new job I do a lot of driving and it is a harder job, by time I get home I either want to eat or relax, but that dont happen with all the things that still need to be done at home.. I hope the next week or so to have our kitchen ready so we won't be going out to eat since we don't have a kitchen. If I meal prep maybe we will have time to do some walking.

Fell into alot of stress and depression after entering the work force
Im doing much better mental health wise, now its time to get the physical health up to speed.
Got myself a Smart scale about 3 weeks ago,
really love the data and it helps alot with motivation.

Yeah, it is the same for everybody. Sometimes weight fluctuates and sometimes it stays stagnant for a while. I just look at the trend from last 5-6 weeks to see the progress. At least for me It is hard to see the progress on my weight on weekly basis no matter how I track the weight (weigh in every day vs once a week.) Maybe looking at weekly average weights is relatively good way, but even in that the fluctuations create some error.
Here is my all weigh ins in a graph after my summer vacation. Looking at that graph it seems clear as day that I have been in calorie deficit, but there is weigh ins like 97,6 kg on 19th of September and 97,3 kg 9th of October which are almost the same even though there is three weeks between:
