Might come as a surprise but early voting has already begun in few states ahead of the midterm elections. For those of you around to follow the 2016 GE thread, some hard lessons were learned in terms of differentiating between the "good" data and the "bad" one. Lots of us ended up flabbergasted on election night and frankly just ****ed up. No excuses.
I'll learn and get better. Hopefully.
The main intent of this thread will be less about forecasting who will win and more about which party is doing a better job of getting their people out to vote. Very important to note: Dems usually win early vote but blow it on election day. Just keep this mind moving forward.
So will it be a BLUE WAVE or RED WALL come November?

~2018 Midterms - Early Voting Thread~
“We have these — these talking heads who have gotten the vaccine and are telling other people not to get the vaccine,” Gov. Spencer Cox (R) said.
“That kind of stuff is just, it’s ridiculous. It’s dangerous, it’s damaging, and it’s killing people. I mean, it’s literally killing their supporters. And that makes no sense to me.”

Democrats are doing a wonderful job, led by Maxine Watters, Diane Feinstein, and Nancy Pelosi.
Their defense of the basic principle of American jurisprudence: that a person is innocent until proven guilty and that actual evidence must be present before guilt is declared...their presentation and defense are outstanding.
Maxine Watters’ calls for calm and reasoned discourse during these trying times is setting a high bar for behavior by politicians.
I certainly have no qualms about handing Congress to these stellar individuals.“From this day to the ending of the world,
But we in it shall be rememberèd—
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother...”

Cuomo vs Molinaro for governor here in NY. After Nixon lost the primary hopefully the ultra progressive wing calms down with the anti-man agenda.
Molinaro seems alright and like Trump pre2016 has NY values (secular, straight talker, and low taxes). He isnt exactly pro-Trump in terms of how hes executed his presidency so far so it will be interesting how the Trump base in NY (Staten Island and Deep Suffolk County) react to him.
I voted for Trump over Hillary but I guess we have to see what the Dems put out this time in terms of candidates

Around 40,000 have already voted for the midterms.
Interesting early trend out of GA, long way to go but looks like the AA community is fired up this time around.

Plenty of people I know bet money on Trump by the hundreds or thousands and knew he'd win. As did many on here.
Its good to know you've learned your lesson by not predicting absolute BS just to save more embarassment this November. I cant wait to see the fake news and shills generating 6+ new threads every fkin day on here.

Suffolk County here. Molinaro is a good candidate. His main issue is money. He doesn’t have much and hasn’t really been running ads. He’s been campaigning his ass off, though.
He has my vote. I’d vote for a monkeys uncle over the ultra corrupt Andrew Cuomo and his blatant attempts to quash our second amendment rights with the disgraceful SAFE act.*Sit there and don't know what to do when people sing happy birthday to me crew*

I trust the source of the data but since you're being a douche about it, here is the raw data. Go double check it on your own time.

10/2: 59,828 people have voted in the 2018 general election.
Will the turnout remain low for the 18-29 bracket?
