Feels like Conor took this fight just to promote his whiskey.
Which is just label on top of Bushmills Distillery

That was pretty painful to watch. I think the UFC did Conor and the promotion of this fight a huge disservice by not allowing the public into this conference. Conor would have only had to say about 5% of what he had to come up with if there was a roaring crowd in there. I think that's why most of what he was saying came off as forced because usually theres a 20-30 second cheer after he says something.

i just started watching it a few minutes ago. pretty cringeworthy and embarrassing so far. complete lack of energy as well, very low test crew
maybe if there were some fans in there for him to feed off of it wouldn't be this awful idk. still think he winsMinisterOfLust: scooterbrah and Mcfreoko are the two worst posters here.

"My Chechen buddy told me Dagestani's have glass chicken jaws"
If you watch boxing press conferences there's really nothing of note that happens until the staredown, Conor can even make a press conference WITH only press interesting. He was a little too coked out at the beginning but once he started drinking he found his groove.

I think it started off cringe but it mellowed out and got a bit bemusing towards the end.
A couple things that made me smirk was Conor keeping bringing up that he showed him his hands outside the bus "I showed him my handss" to show im unarmed like to make Khabib seem more scared.
And then "the Chechnian people know" and bringing up some abstract Russian politics story -it came off as bemusingly random and petty.
Like out of all things to prepare thats what he wants to attack him with lol

Coked up and most likely drunk. My God, dana needs to get his dog on a leash. He's gotta be embarrassed, and he should be, along with the UFC. This wasn't a press conference, it was a freaking sideshow.
EDIT
And then at the end dana tells his crew to get conor's belts? Wooooow WTF"I would fight anyone of the UFC LW's, but the problem is that I will never put my foot in the octagon after they (UFC) tried to be funny, I would rather have bleeding hemorrhoids than fight for the UFC. Honestly shocked at some of the names ITT who still don’t understand what Conor does. That’s why he’s the GOAT, imo.
Also why does everyone have the memory of a 79 year old alcoholic? This was no different to the Dublin presser with Aldo and the Mayweather pressers. Maybe he was slightly more aggressive with Khabib because he knows he is harder to get to.
I’ve legitimately been hearing how Conor is on drugs/having a meltdown/going broke/embarrassing/rattled/shook for over 3 years.
Watch how many PPV buys this event does.

I may be misunderstanding what you are saying but if you are suggesting that Eire Born slapped a label over Bushmills, they did not.
I’m not a fan of C.M but he has a master distiller that knows what he is doing. I don’t know if they are renting time at Old Bushmill or if they have a joint venture with Jose Cuervo (who I believe owns the Old Bushmill distillery) but this is not a label over...Last edited by Scarrdbutsmartr; 09-20-2018 at 08:26 PM.

man, i'm really surprised to see the comments on here. that press conference got me hype. I could see Conor getting under Khabib's skin. I actually didn't see fear at all in Conor's demeanor. It looked like he genuinely wanted to expose how some folks view Khabib that are not in the US. I think Khabib did an excellent job of staying composed under everything thrown at him.
This was vintage Conor. Loud, obnoxious, in your face...but the truth is, the man always shows up to fight. This fight is going to be about pride and respect. The best type of fights. Let's just hope both men show up..."This guy has no idea of how strong I can be or how fast or how powerful I can be." - GSP
