    Intermitted Fasting

    I do IF and I was wondering if I took my DSN PreWorkout pills before my workouts would it break my fast?

    I searched a lot about the supplements allowed for fasted exercise as a beginner, I do some fasted weight exercises, some say you are allowed for 10-15 calories of your supplements, but think about it our bodies will be out of glycogen after 30 min of weight lifting exercise and if you don't have BCAA in your blood it will use both fat and muscle for energy, I usually take L carnetine on empty stomach then C4 or Api hustle with Glutamine and creatine, then BCAA 10 min before exercise, and I sheded a lot of body fat although I almost do 0% cardio.

    Really depends who you ask but IMO anything that has a calorie or would effect insulin is a no go when I want to remain fasted. Plenty of people recommend BCAA consumption while fasting though, so it all depends on your goals as how "fasted" you want to be.

    That's not how the body works. Just because you don't eat for a few hours doesn't mean that the body starts utilizing adipose tissue for energy.

    I'm a big fan of PSMF if you don't care about athletic performance. I use it frequently and have modified my own diet off of it to maintain at 10% for the summers.

    I love IF personally, but I struggle with appetite issues. For me it's more convenient and helps me from being doubled over in hunger pain at times, or constantly fighting to keep my blood sugar up so I don't feel like death.
