3/19 outside slams yet he's won 4 of the last 5 slams and only scheduling and and dust storm kept him out of the other final. Doesn't get any more obvious what he's focusing on.

US open draw is up.
Federer landed in Novak's half.
Nadal's half: Tsitsipas, Kyrgios, RBA, Shapo/FAA (who face off in the 1st round again), Thiem, Zverev, Khachanov, Isner, Cilic.

Oh lawd... Maria vs Serena first round match. Please let Maria win that (fat chance).
Lol at Rusedski. Dunno why some of these old players are so crusty at Fed. Seems like they’re just rooting for him to fail and retire. Pretty sad considering all that he’s done for the sport (and been a class act all the way).

Exactly. Nadal hasn't beaten him off clay in 5 and a half years and he came within a point of beating Djokovic just over a month ago. Who'd have thought the new 12-all tiebreak rule would actually hurt him. Anyway no one's saying call him the favorite but saying he can't beat them makes Rusedski look salty and stupid.
I know you remember this. We all thought that might be the last time he'd reach a slam final. He's been in another 6 since then and won half of them.

Fun fact: Djokovic is on an 8-0 streak against Ralph on hardcourts. Hasn't dropped a set.
He's been Novak's pigeon off clay for almost a decade now. You want to anoint this man "GOAT" when he can't beat his main rival off clay?
Since 2011 OFF CLAY:
0-2 grass
0-2 indoors
2-10 outdoor HC
-------------------
2-14

He lives in fantasy land and hates hearing the truth about his hero.
Since 2011 Novak arrived Nadal has won:
0 Australian Opens
0 Wimbledons
2 US Opens*
*For one of them didn't face Djokovic, Federer, or Murray — in fact didn't face a single Top 25 player. Got a gassed Delpo who could only slice his BH and Big Kev in the final who let him return from 20ft behind the baseline.
Cliffs: Could easily be 1 slam outside Roland Garros in nearly 9 years. Think about that.

And age isn't a factor at all?
LTFOL if you think Djokovic being 6 years older would be beating Federer at Wimbledon. Two of those finals went to 5 sets and Federer was a few weeks shy of age 33, 34, and 38.
Anyway at least he got a few wins over him in 2015, statistically his best ever season when he went 31-5 against the Top 10. Nadal couldn't take a set off him anywhere even losing at RG. Here's the reality champ...
In the last 5 years Nadal is 0-13 against Djokovic & Federer off the dirt.

Lol at Tsitsipas complaining about the chair umpire for his match. Got warned for coaching from his dad and for taking too long between sets (which he is famous for).
Shapo also blew a gasket while up 6-1,6-1,5-4 lol... thought Felix took too long before saying he wanted to challenge a line call and Shapo berated the umpire over it (dropping F-bombs). Got a violation as well.
If this is what we’re headed for from the next generation I’ll be sorely disappointed. At least win a fukking slam before you start acting all entitled.
