Andreescu is 10/10 unlike bum Genie.
If only Genie would focus on tennis and not getting slain by guys in the clubs, Canada could have two female tennis stars.
Today is a great day for Canadian Tennis.

Shades of the 2018 final. Couldn't close. 2/11 on BP.
No one is immune to the loss of clutchness with age including the guy who has won more than anyone. With age comes more pressure thinking about fewer opportunities.
Congratulations to Thiem. This is what is supposed to be happening — 25 year old beats 37 year old. HC is far more competitive than his favorite surface so this should give him a lot of confidence.

All Federer would care about going into the slams is that he's one of the Top 4 seeds. With Nadal out he'll be seeded 4th in Miami.
Getting back to Thiem it's probably gone unnoticed that he had former pro Nicolas Massu working with him in Indian Wells and they arrived 10 days early. It can't be a coincidence his form turned around. I also think the signs were there at last year's US Open against Nadal. All he needs is a little more self belief and he's winning those big matches.
After years of ATP's lost generation coming up short we're finally seeing some promising signs.
Madrid — Zverev
Paris Masters — Khachanov
ATP Finals — Zverev
Indian Wells — Thiem
And Kyrgios going through Seppi-Nadal-Wawrinka-Isner-Zverev in Acapulco showed that he's capable of another strong run at a Masters like Cincy 2017. I've seen Masters won with much weaker draws than what he faced.

Wtf happened to Petkovic? Used to really enjoy watching her play. Her little dances when she won weren’t bad either. Now, she’s getting wrecked by a 17yo and it seems like you rarely ever see her anymore. Sad.

Any bets on when Lendl will pull the pin on Team Zverev?
Just lost in the 2nd round to #155 David Ferrer serving up 12 double faults. 600 points from last year's final went up in smoke and is defending around 2500 on clay.
Won't get any easier when he's seeded outside the Top 4. Look at his losses this year. Ferrer. Struff. Kyrgios. Raonic.
Anyway the bottom of the draw is now wide open.
