Nadal fans are the lowest IQ fans in all of sports. Not even close.
JJ Watt is an overrated athlete plus a fake nice guy whose ligaments are as strong as the foundations of every home in Houston that gets obliterated during Hurricane season.

Speaking of low IQ Kyrgios the bludger is now teeing off from behind a keyboard at Khachanov. That's got to be at least 10 players now he's lined up with his cheap shots over the past year or so. Murray must cringe at how fiercely The Hunchback of Canberra defends his man crush.

The reality for this self appointed defender of the tennis universe is in a couple of years his career will almost look like a journeyman's. Never cracked the Top 10. Never passed the QF of a slam. 0 Masters wins. Hopefully Karen wises up and doesn't waste any more time arguing with this keyboard warrior. The bulb is so dim upstairs at Kyrgios HQ he hasn't figured out English isn't Khachanov's first language.

    Kyrgios has now attacked...

    Djokovic
    Nadal
    Thiem
    Zverev
    Khachanov
    Carreno Busta
    Ruud
    Coric
    Verdasco
    Wawrinka
    Becker
    Wilander
    Hewitt
    Rafter
    Cash
    Gaudenzi (ATP boss)

No wonder he wants Murray to hang around. Even if he somehow gets himself back into shape he'll have no friends on the Tour.

Triggered. It's great to see you two having a meltdown this early in a tournament.

No I enjoy him underarm serving Nadal to unsettle his bush league return tactic from the back wall. That is absolute trash so I wish more players would do it. Of course in your world with tunnel vision for one player's oiled up biceps that means I'm somehow his biggest fan.

Anyone who messes with him doing this garbage gets my vote.

This is a new low even for Dom.

I guess half a year of cowering in his basement because of the Chinese flu would do that to you.

We all know tennis isn't a super popular sport, but there is another main reason why this thread has like 3 "active" posters in it.

What's a new low? Being critical of his dogchit return tactic standing so far back the camera operator has to tilt the shot so people tuning in know there's a player down there?

Yes I applaud Kyrgios for having the balls to upset him instead of bowing down like the nextgen sycophants. That doesn't mean I approve of his keyboard warrior antics.

"fcking lol" at blaming me for the state of this thread before looking in the mirror. You and your buddy rolled in when this thread had been going for 3 years and called it a Federer circle jerk. You're like that grub who farts in a lift and blames someone else. Own your stench.

Anyway it's amusing to see you nuthuggers cracking up because your 12x champ got unfavorable conditions on Chatrier for the first time in his career.

Not exactly a surprise he wins a lot of return points standing that far back facing a big serve. He can't do it against Federer because he comes in. It just shows how one dimensional players have become that he can exploit it. Of course if he's going to stink up the joint with an ugly tactic then it's only fair players try to counter it with another ugly tactic by underarm serving him. Not sure why that rustles you so hard.

Anyway off clay his career return percentages aren't on Novak's level. Djokovic is a more complete player. Deal with it.

You seem pretty wound up. I've got no dog in this fight and would be happy to see Thiem win another slam rather than the same old farts padding their stats. Of course all signs point to Djokovic. He's match fit. Nadal isn't. He also likes playing under a roof.

Clay = 3 months of the year. HC is a greater test especially now that there are no clay specialists. Everyone but his nuthuggers will acknowledge this.

    Last 10 years...

    AO
    Djokovic 7
    Federer 2
    Nadal 0

    Wimbledon
    Djokovic 5
    Federer 2
    Nadal 0

    US Open
    Djokovic 3
    Nadal 3
    Federer 0

3 slams off clay in 10 years compared to Novak's 15. For someone you desperately want to be called the GOAT that's underachieving if you ask me. Several embarrassing Wimbledon failures like getting smoked in straight sets by

    STEVE DARCIS

0 ATP Finals. Talk up clay all you like but he's got a lot of holes in his resume.

yeah that was a bummer, I believe he injured himself during the Nadal game but still tried to play the next round but had to pull out last minute or something

Always enjoyed watching Davis Cup. Some players find another level in a team environment. Sounds like Darcis was like that.

Lleyton Hewitt was No. 1 for a couple of years but always saved his best for Davis Cup. Came back from 2 sets to love down against Federer in 2003 who was serving for the match — Federer said that loss turned his career around. Beat reigning RG champ and then No. 1 Gustavo Kuerten on clay in his home town in Brazil even winning the doubles in 2001 at 20 years old.

    What are you on about?

Standing next to line umpires to return serve is an ugly tactic that absolutely looks like garbage on a TV screen but of course I don't hate him for it. I just want to see players look for solutions to counter it instead of feeding him easy returns like Anderson did in the US Open final. That was pathetic to watch. At least Kyrgios unsettled him by trying a few underarm serves so he doesn't get too comfortable dropping anchor back there.

Thiem copy and pasted the tactic and also used it against Anderson at the US Open a year later who proceeded to lose exactly the same way. I said earlier I'd be happy to see Thiem win so clearly the tactic isn't something that would make me hate a player. I don't hate Nadal however 2/3 of his titles have come on clay so I don't rate him as highly as Djokovic and Federer regardless of how many more French Open titles he wins. If that makes me pathetic I can live with that.

Not everyone appreciated this tactic from Federer even if it takes incredible reflexes to pull it off. In the grand scheme of things it backfired because Djokovic was ready for it at the US Open. And that's the whole point. Players should look for solutions. Kyrgios wasn't afraid to piss him off but the majority of players won't go there. Nadal standing that far back is perfectly legal but if every player started doing it you'd get tired of seeing it.

Kinda ironic to say that because Rafa did exactly that - found solution to counter big serves. Whether that looks ugly or not is completely irrelevant, most attention is on server anyway. I believe changes are necessary and I support them as long as they are in a tactical way. Tennis won't be the same in 20 years as it wasn't 20 years ago and that's normal thing. Players adapting to others and looking for counter solutions is natural in every sport and that's the only way to improve. This serve returning is one solution that's obviously working, but ****ting on a guy just because it's not aeshetically pleasing is some next level bs.

I would also be happy with Thiem winning it because he really deserves it (not saying others don't).

Tennis is a unique sport because it's played on multiple different surfaces so it's very natural for a player to play better on a certain surface than on others, with some players being more adaptive and some not. Nadal showed he can play on all with clay being extremely more dominant so no, he's not like Djokovic who's probably best all round player ever capable of playing on all surfaces on top level (with HC being his favourite probably). Imo that doesn't take away any value from Nadal, but shows he really mastered one surface to perfection. His game is literally made for clay so it's obvious he will be handicapped on grass for example.

And yeah, don't even mention Kyrgios because he's a clown. A top professional player shouldn't act like a 13 year old girl while calling up other players on social medias simply to provoke them. True, he's got a point sometimes, but his behavior immediately denies it.

    Really Stan? Really?

Thinking about making the switch back to Wilson. Bringing back the 6.1 95 with that new cool pro staff paint job is intriguing.
