I’m going to fix the tractor tomorrow on my day off. I was bush hogging and the tractor overheated. Shredded the V belt. Looked at the alternator... not a positive charging wire connected to the battery to be seen. I don’t even know wtf to think...

Sometimes critters get up in there and chew up wires. A lot of generator service calls were because of varmin fukking up the wires or frying themselves.

If it makes you feel better, I’m just limping along as I go. I’ve never worked on a tractor before (lawn tractors don’t count) and have very little experience wth diesels. So I just... kinda go with it and hope for the best.

I am alive. went to Dr. long story short she gave me a shot and meds for the cough and congestion. all is well now. GF is doing better. walking is getting easier but she really hates having to go get the antibiotic IVs. got to do that until Wednesday next week.
