I buy clubs used at half price, not sure I'd buy new. I think the Ping G series irons are the best game improvement clubs on the market after hitting a ton of clubs. Go one or two generations back and get them at half price or even less.
I think Cobras are the best bang for buck clubs.

Made a Meatloaf last night. Dripped meat juice in the oven and smoked up the whole house last night. All doors and windows opened.
Today, we had a family over for pie dessert. Ran the oven and started smoking the house again...ugh. Back up plan ended up being old ice cream and popsicles from the freezer.
Oven is clean now...jeez.US Army 1998-2020

Glad it's just the flu 5x. That's good news.
TVK, listen to the toad. I've only purchased 1 club new and that was my driver 2 years ago when I was playing regularly. Everything else has been 2nd or 3rd hand. That's going back 20+ years.
Gix - talk to me about going from a truck to a car. How was it? Difficult? Missing something? I'm considering a sedan right now and it scares me to death. It sounds fun, but haven't driven a car as a daily since '95.
Audit S8 is what I'm considering. We have 6 road trips in the next ~6 months (2 to Vegas, 2 to Reno, and at least 2 bay area). Vegas is about a 6 hour drive and Reno is about 5 hours from where we are. Even he used varieties aren't cheap, but nothing compared to new. I considered a cts-v a couple of years ago and passed at the time. Maybe I need to get in the position to have that 3rd fun vehicle. You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.

Not an S, but drove an A8 L with the 3.0T. Man it's a nice car, but felt like an old man land yacht. When I'm 60 maybe that'll be the car .
The closest "S" car is in the bay area, a couple hour drive away for me. May need to make a weekend trip to So Cal and drive one. The price range for a used version is kinda silly, but quite a bit cheaper than new. I'm not real scared of the potential pricey Audi maintenance as long as I can find a low mileage version.
I'm always amazed that there are 3 year old cars with less than 10k miles on them. You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.

Had a Hoyt bow in College. Sold it about 10 years ago after it collected dust for 10 years. Spent a couple falls in the mountains here and 1 fall in Iowa in a tree. Never killed anything with it. It was a lot of fun to shoot though.
It's not easy 5x. I've had this sport sedan bug before and ultimately passed for my current truck. Here I am again considering a sedan. This time though my truck is only at 80k miles. It's at the point that if I wait another year, I lose about $10k in resell. If I wait a year, might as well wait 2-3 years more. The other kicker is that Sedan's don't hold their value worth a chit. A new Audi S8 runs $120k. A 2017 with 30k miles is about $65k. A 2013 with 60k miles is about $30k. Granted the used Audi comes with a pretty spooky thought of expensive repairs which turns a lot of people off.
Think I'll put my truck for sale locally and see what happens. If it sells, I'll have to get something which will push me in some direction. You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.

it didn’t help, we got out of the hospital when the game was on
He had myelitis, his CK blood levels were 1500, supposed to be under 1000 or even lower(1k was what the doc was wanting to release him)
It indicates muscle breakdown, which is why he was in so much pain
Doc said she/they don't know what causes this
Weird flu though, no fever, more like a cold symptom wise
But yeah, seeing him scared like that is heartbreaking
I turned into an absolute **** when I saw this but wouldn’t show it as I didn’t want to scare him more
Thank Sillie, although dems are generally dumb and judgemental, you show they can still serve a purpose
My next car will be a Cadillac ct6, used
They just came out with a supercharged ct6, called the Blackhawk (I think)
If I was loaded, I would drop the $90k for one of thoseDallas Cowboys

As for the cars, love the Audi A6's. I drive an Infinity G37x and kind of wish I'd splurged for the Audi.

Just caught up on thread. That's scary 5x10. Nothing destroys me quite like dealing with stuff like that with my kids. Glad he is okay.
Jay I really liked having a car. They are so much easier of that makes sense. But why not both? That was the best of both worlds. If I had my choices, I'd have a Tesla for my daily and a HD of the Ram brand for moving toys around and on snow days
I could see you in a cyber truck jay. Not gonna lie, its growing on meToxic Masculinity

Love the model S. Like engJ I've built one on their website more times than I can count. I've been to Tesla's showroom in San Jose a couple of times. They are gorgeous cars. The cyber truck is ugly, IMO. I think the tech is amazing but not thinking it's something for me in the short run. There is a Tesla charging station just right down the street from where I live. Every weekend, It's full of cars getting charged.
Good to hear. You don't hear many stories of 100k miles on an Audi at all. Mostly just the horror stories about the $6k brake job.
I'm old now RR, but have learned that rest is important. It's also important to know the difference between needing rest and being lazy . If your riding on Turkey day, I'm pretty sure you're not lazy, so take some time. You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.
