I made the appointment for my Dobby dog to be put down on Friday, before leaving work yesterday.

On my way home, I basically had a panic attack and almost passed out driving down the highway.

Now I think I making myself sick. I can't eat. Gave myself a knot in my trap and it hurts bad.

Sorry Bitty. I am just now getting over putting down Tank. We finally got his ashes back. They included a plaster paw print and the tear jerker, hair clippings in a ziplock bag. I let my pupper (Chip) smell the bag and he started crying and looking around the house.

I've got a buddy who said when he was a kid his old man was running a backhoe on their property and accidentally ran over and killed his dog. His old man didn't even kill the engine. Just unceremoniously dug a hole, scooped the dog up with the bucket, dumped it in the hole, covered it and keep working. Farm life.
