It looked like it was set up by wilder pretty well. Wilder threw a few big right hands earlier on and was blocked cleanly. Those rights were a bit looping, the right that put him out was straight down the middle. You could see ortiz anticipating that right like the previous ones but bam, right in the middle. Great job by wilder, he doesn't look pretty in the ring but knows what he's doing and uses his ability well

The camera angles sucked for that finish. The camera shots I saw were from behind Ortiz or behind Wilder. I wanted to see where Ortiz was looking because it sure as hell didn't look like Ortiz had his eyes up at all.
Strong turn of momentum...Ortiz had just been getting his best offense off leading up to that finish. I thought Wilder was hurt in the sequence leading up to that too.Last edited by Mogambo; 11-23-2019 at 11:32 PM.

Figured that fight was last night, but couldn't confirm so ended up missing it. Watched the highlights, and it didn't look like Wilder was getting beat that bad as some people suggested. He just took his time in there and took the right opening and opportunity. At first glance, that right didn't look that hard that put Ortiz down, but when you see it slowed down from angles, you can see more the power behind it, so it kinda makes sense. I also like how Wilder was working on his left hook more, which I've always said he should use more in his arsenal. I hope he keeps that up, it'd be very useful in a rematch against Tyson Fury.

The reason this works for Wilder is that he does manage to avoid heavy damage in the fights that go long. He rarely gets hit clean with power shots. In the Fury and Ortiz fight I can recall only once in each fight where he took power shots for a sustained period.
Otherwise you're not looking at a long career in the HW division.

Anthony Joshua has regained the unified Heavyweight title to become a 2 time heavyweight champion.
Andy Ruiz Jr weighed in 18 lbs heavier than the first fight and even says in the post fight interview that he wasn't prepared.... 1 hit wonder? It's almost as big of a disgrace as Buster Douglas' first defence of the title after beating Mike Tyson.
Ruiz looks utterly terrible from these highlights

the Charlo/Hogan fight last night was way better than AJ/Ruiz 2

I actually thought that Ruiz would win the rematch, that is if he came in at 100%
then I started seeing the reports that he was just out spending money buying new cars every week etc... then I had serious doubts, and yep he fked up bad. Joshua shouldn't give him a 3rd fight, why should he when he won so convincingly and Ruiz didn't even prepare for his first title defense...
Joshua winning is good for boxing, he looks the part, and has more charisma than RuizYellow Fever Crew

So boxing has started back up, and most of all major sports are not being played
as a result there is boxing events being shown on sports channels twice a week
you would never see these events being aired if there were any major sports being played right now so I like it.
Although it is whack as hell watching fights with no crowd. It's like watching sparring tbh lolYellow Fever Crew
