Sent the Mavic Mini back and got the Air 2S. Massive upgrade in image quality. Low light performance of the Mini was Meh at best. No regrets.

Untuckit it makes good chit but they are pricey af. JC Penney has a brand(forget the name) that carries shirts designed to be untucked as well as J Crew. You can find cheaper alternatives.

SMOKER (grill) BRAHS, I have a question--

I'm thinking about using Thanksgiving as an excuse to finally upgrade to a real smoker and have been looking at Traegers, Grilla grills, and some cheaper stuff on amazon. Leaning hard towards the Grilla right now, which was previously recommended by someone in this thread IIRC. Has anyone here smoked a turkey in one of these before? I usually fry mine but kind of want to try smoking it this year. Will a whole bird even fit in one of these smokers or would I need to spatchcock it and/or remove the upper rack?

I smoke a bird every year on the Traeger. Comes out really well. I have an older Traeger so it doesn't have a lot of the fancy options they have out now.

Traeger has an app that you can pull recipes from.

The fukin thing still hasn't been delivered yet. I preordered and it was supposed to ship November 1st, but apparently they found some issue with the magsafe magnets so the whole batch was delayed. I already had a $15 discount on it but they knocked another $8 off when I emailed them to ask about the delay. I'm using a cheap silicone case for the time being and it's a pain in the ass to slide in and out of my pocket because it's too grippy. Will update once I actually receive the Bullstrap. I had a Nomad leather case for my last iphone (2020 SE model) and it was nice, but it wasn't leather all the way around. More of a plastic bumper case with a leather back. The Nomads are cheaper than Bullstraps, but the Bullstrap looks aesthetic as fuk in their advertising.

Pellet grills are cool for beginners or people that are ok with good enough.
For my taste it doesn't put enough smoke on the meat.
But if you want something easy......go for it.
I bought and sold my traeger after a few uses. Doesnt smoke meat well nor does it sear steak so it was kind of useless to me

I got the chimp (which tbh is probably big enough for a medium sized turkey) but I haven’t done one. I will say though that so far, I’ve had 4 couples over for steaks and each pair all said the steaks were the best they’ve ever had. I have no idea what I’m doing, just hit 130 with the temp probe then sear in a pan afterwards. Yet somehow these steaks are coming out as everybody’s favorite to the point where people are offering to bring the meat if I prepare it for them

Whole bird fits. Usually Get a 14-16 pounder in there.

Don't remember model. At the time there were 3 sizes and I got the middle size.

The one you linked looks like it is the "portable" model, which might be small.

$320 on some LensCoat coverings for two lenses and the tripod



couldn't justify it on aesthetics alone, but the thermal transfer is what sold me on it. my hands get cold super easy, and it's much nicer touching the lens covering than raw metal or whatever.

plus the tripod leggings make it a lot more comfortable to chuck over your shoulder
