That price is pretty much entry level if you want name brand suspension etc. There is a fair bit of kit in them these days and if you're going to use it for what it's designed for you don't really want no-name brand components.
Also the market for second hand bikes are pretty good, high re sale prices.

More like a lightweight super long vise on the top of a sawhorse. More useful in the field than having a saw horse and a couple of clamps because set up is so fast. Doing cuts using a sawhorse is ok, but if you want to cut, drill, sand, etc, setting up clamps gets to be a PITA.
My parallel clamps that long were around $50 each, and my vise was a lot more, so it doesn't seem that overpriced to me if it suits your needs. Think of how much time you'd spend making something you could fold up which is as strong and fast to use, and add that to the cost of the wood, the clamp or vice on top, the hinges, paint...Last edited by JustTheDad; 07-24-2020 at 07:34 AM.

Picked up a new TV after... 6 years. It was time. Old TV was barely bigger than 40 inch. Figured it was time with the new consoles coming out that can actually make use of 120hz refresh rates.
Had to go to 2 Costco's to find what I wanted. Almost made a mistake because Samsung is lying about the real refresh rates on their new QLED line of TVs. Not a real 120 on this year's model. This LG does have native 120, and was a good price at a tad over eight hundy.
Being anti-2nd Amendment is like saying "We have too many rights, please take some away!"

TV looks real nice! But wasn't it better to wait for a black friday deal that's coming soon? Or was this one already on sale?
I don't watch much tv anymore but if you get a chromecast, you could stream all the moves towards your tv.
Or if you're already subscribed to netflix, hulu etc, then perhaps the roku would be preferred since it can play in 4k.Cobra Kai never dies!

Picked up a leather case for my AirPods from nomad goods and then decided to snag a matching case for my phone so I can retire the old magpul case
Got these “Bose-killer” Sony headphones for my wife. She had eardrum surgery as a kid and doesn’t like earbuds

Quarantine has not been good for my body

The body fat % is way off on this thing though, like over 10%. But it’s consistent though, so I can at least still track changes.Last edited by MattyMiscer; 07-31-2020 at 10:31 AM.

How is a scale supposed to know your body fat % accurately?
You're better off with a measurement tape, a mirror and taking bi-weekly or monthly pics for comparison.
Only thing a scale should do is tell your weight accurately imo. Everything else is a gimmick you're paying extra for.Cobra Kai never dies!

Yeah I wasn’t planning on relying on the scale for body fat, I prefer to use the mirror to track that. But since I like to post links to the products I post itt for the brahs I wanted to include that feedback on the scale. The scale was only 20 bucks and eliminates the need for me to keep a spreadsheet when I’m on a cut since it tracks stats automatically, so that’s why I decided to try it out.

Bought a new camera/smartphone condenser mic.
Identical to the Rode mic and amazing price. Sounds great.
Needed some long exterior wood screws so I went out and bought these. They're awesome.
