Respects to everyone but those jobs you can easily find someone else to do it. Finding another doctor is much harder.
Lol @ being on a salary. Especially in a desirable area. Set up shop yourself and do it the right way and make triple those numbers. I mean that's how we do it in Canada (almost no one is on salary here) and that's how it largely was in USA.Licensed Medical Doctor

In on "biggest lie threads". When you were growing up, you were fed so many lies. You were told that being nice would get you ahead. Being honest would pay off. You were told if you go get a college degree life will be on easy mode. Told if you become a doctor or a lawyer you will be a god. By the time you really learn what is going on, it's too late and all you can do is justify and cope.

Lol wish it was that easy. Saturated competitive markets, referral networks, exclusive contracts, non competes.. you donโt just buy office space next to Central Park and hang your shingle outside and people show up.
Also the truth most millennial docs have no desire to be entrepreneurs after training is over. Itโs time to collect a paycheck, get on a schedule, and start living life.

10 years ago primary care docs were in the $150k- $200k range and worked crazy hours, seeing patients in the office then rounding on their patients in the hospital at night. Two factors changed that. First, hospitals started buying up primary care practices like crazy to lock in the primary care docs referrals. This also had the effect of greatly reducing the primary care docs hours and improving their lifestyle as they were smart and negotiated normal hours. Also most hospitals now have a group of hospitalist physicians (about $200k) who do nothing but treat and discharge patients in the hospital, no office practice, so the primary care docs burden of managing patients in the hospital is greatly reduced.
Secondly, both hospitals and insurance companies realized that primary care docs are the key to getting the expensive trainwreck patients treated early so they never develop trainwreck status. Tons of incentive money available to primary care docs to see patients early and often and to pay special attention with care plans to those patients most at risk for developing multiple, expensive co-morbidities.
But really, you don't become a doc to get rich. If you're smart enough to be a doc, there's probably a finance, drug research, etc job that would make you multiples of what you'd make as a doctor. But then you wouldn't be a medical doctor would you?Early AM workout crew.

So much projection from *******s who never got anywhere academically lol.
Indeed. Mentioning the "I'm a doctor" card to chicks = instant validation.

the only woman that actively pursues a man strictly for money is the one that will turn u into a 50 yr old bitter jaded ******* telling life stories
high-quality women do want a man that makes more than 40k bcuz high-quality men are capable of earning more
higher status is not based on career, it's based on character, who respects the ******* boss versus the humble rancher whom put his own gas from his jerry can when ur truck broke down near his home (true story)
depends on the doctor, some are worthless pill pushers that only operate off 1 trained strategy other doctors are master body mechanics
lot of cope ITT, but whoever said ur avg neighborhood D-boy pulls more tail hahaha that's real

Lmao what? Having an excellent career built off years of sacrifice, very high grades etc = character in and of itself. Who gives a fuk about some ******* filling up someones car with their own jerry can? So much cope it's ridiculous.
Yeah the avg neighbourhood "D-boy" might pull more tail earlier on (mostly trashy girls with daddy issues), but what are his life prospects? Absolute toilet. Just lol @ peaking when you're 18-20, and the other 80% of your life being meaningless/worthless. Meanwhile, the doctors/surgeons are making bank, have status, and live affluent lifestyles.
Lots of my prior uni mates who finished med school are doing well with many specializing now, and paired up with attractive women. Meanwhile "d-boys" from high school are working dead end jobs, have a ba$tard child or two, and nothing going for them. At the 10 year high school reunion I went to a few years ago, one of them was recently released from prison. "B-b-but... I was cool in high school!".... LOLPositive Crew

Medicine is also the easiest field to be an entrepreneur in. Just don't be in a mega saturated market (aka go 30 minutes outside the city), do the basics and you can do well. It may be tough the first couple years vs a salaried job but eventually you can be much better off. Plus you can do urgent care/ED shifts to keep the cash flow going.
Medicine is a for sure route to big money. I mean you're virtually guaranteed 250k and are also guaranteed a solid shot at mid to high 6 figures. In the world of finance/business? Good luck. You aren't guaranteed any job let alone a fair shot at big money. You'll be lucky to make 200k. Thing is, it's easier to run up the billing as a specialist and make 7 figures than to do it in finance...
Also lets keep in mind primary care sucked badly 10 years ago paying 180-190k until obamacare ramped up pay into low to mid 200s across the board.Licensed Medical Doctor
