i believe its a result of being fed so many negative ideas from mainstream media and entertainment. everyone is all about themselves and almost eager to step on others if itl get them something, and thats exactly what you see being pushed in practically all movies, tv, music and magazines.

i have a feeling that dating apps and social media have also inflated women's egos, because they post doctored up pictures of themselves on the internet and its like opening the flood gates of guys hitting on them. most of them are probably complete losers with some even using fake pictures of themselves. it makes these girls feel like theyre way more attractive than they actually are, and that coupled with a generation tendency towards being selfish in general results in the garbage you and i have to deal with.

this is the mentality that some guys go through. its likely most if not all guys when theyre young are naive and think that being extra nice to girls will get them a girlfriend. but if they are actually able to get girlfriends they learn eventually that acting like a love sick puppy towards their girl will always backfire.

only way to actually keep a girl interested is to be good to her, but always treat her with an edge of apathy and make it clear that if she fuks up youl dump her.

Do you think living in a place like Cali makes it more difficult? More quality women in Upstate NY where I live now than where I grew up in NYC. I would assume most of Cali, especially major metro areas have women more similar to NYC women.

Yes I definitely think so in the coastal metro areas. Will probably have to move to find someone.

imo the politics and all the ridiculous laws that get passed are the biggest problems. CA is incredibly expensive too.

as for the people ive come to terms with the idea that people in general are just selfish. in the context of girlfriends i just dont care anymore, il date a girl and treat her good while were together but if she starts acting out of line il just break up with her.

what bothers me more is bros who backstab out of jealousy. that was a very common thing when i lived in CA
