i like math, but i see it as a tool to accomplish things. i just dont understand mathematicians who do things like proofs and other things which have no bearing on actual reality.
science and especially physics i love but to do those things you need some math.
im not in business exactly, but i do occasionally use exclamation points in my emails and texts because i find humor in it.

Lol Um, no. From what I’ve read, exclamation points might distract from the facts of what you’re trying to convey. Men are more direct in their responses whereas sometimes women are more wordy etc to make a point. And I guess that’s why men don’t use exclamation points. I mean if you’re emailing “happy new year!” then an exclamation point would be okay. But trying to gain someone’s trust and business, is different.

both, although my higher level supervisors i tend to not joke with as much. my direct supervisor im always joking with. i actually call him OG and rap rhymes about us doing our job. that is the kind of boss you want to have.
in my experience it would not be accurate to say all men behave in the same pattern. different individuals behave differently. me personally i try to create a positive work environment at all times. i never shout at other people, and i try to joke as much as possible (within reason). people who are in a good mood will perform better than people who are stressed out or pissed off.Last edited by 4ea; 01-16-2020 at 03:46 PM.

yes exactly, you need to get to know people to gain an understanding of how they will react to things. when meeting a new work contact its best to prove to them that you are intelligent and know your subject matter. if they ask you questions about things and you can effectively answer their questions and help them find documents or information they will respect and like you more. and after you get to know them better then you can start joking with them.

You're focusing on men vs. women where you should just focus on whether you want to use an exclamation point. If the exclamation point matches the tone of what you're trying to say (and usually it indicates excitement/positivity), then use it! But don't use it repeatedly too much!!!!!!1

01-17-2020, 02:05 AM #2387- Your mindset influences your outcome. It's time to take out phrases like "I can't" or "I don't have time" and replace them with phrases like "I will make the time" and "I will keep working at it until I find a way that works." Success starts with the right mindset and believing in yourself and your dreams.
