by letting her move into my house drastically reducing her monthly expenses, and she took all that money and spent it on take out restaurant food and alcohol, damaged my house, broke my roomba, made me miserable for over a year.

she also eats my food without asking, runs my appliances into the ground, microwaves dog food making the house stink and is super loud and annoying. she left the front door unlocked multiple times, occasionally leaves the freezer door open, scratched up my hardwood floor, constantly slams doors, packs the refrigerator with food and forgets about some letting it rot. she plugs up the kitchen sink, spills water and doesnt clean it up.

i tried to talk to her over and over again about the necessity of being financially responsible, and the importance of self improvement but shes found that its easier to self identify as a victim and just let go of her life. i have no problem helping people out but they need to take responsibility for themselves, not just give up and expect other people to carry them

I don't know about dogs but I do know my cat cares if her steak is grass fed or not. Legit have seen my cat turn away a non grass fed piece of steak. I spoil her.

its important to look out for family and contribute good to the world because theres way too much negative sh_t that happens daily. but it really sucks when you try to help someone and they end up taking it for granted and basically screw you over.

but in the case of my sister, shes got a final job interview on tuesday, apparently round 3 in the interview process so its looking promising and if it works out shel be moving out shortly.

I agree on helping people. It just seems like you helped the wrong one. What you described is a nightmare to me.

Yeah, one of my ******** friends has been posting for years about her son's battle with addiction. Then not too long ago the police found him dead in a sleeping bag out in front of the Salvation Army. He had been laying there for days, before someone decided to check on him.

I can't imagine what she's feeling, TBH. She talks about it a lot, and it's the complete range of emotions.

my parents have bailed her out with money multiple times because she keeps racking up credit card debt and not paying it off. but they wont let her move back in with them. i get the feeling that my mom just doesnt want to deal with it beyond a few phone calls a week. neither she or my dad really know what to do because at this point my sister has solidified her habits.
