They took 300k off me at one point, when people were first getting close to 1 million reps, they knocked everybody down to 350k. They were concerned about regular posters having as many reps as mods. However, it appears they stopped worrying about that since there are now non-mods well over 1 million currently.

I don't think it's so binary--it's philosophical vs. practical. Philosophically, I believe experience is more valuable; but, practical application involves fundamental education--and, right, wrong, fair or unfair, formal education provides the fundamentals, competitive advantage and holds value for key decision makers. Knowing yourself, identifying your career goals and developing a strategy to achieve those goals is vital--and different for everyone--an MBA for me is strategic and fills in knowledge gaps/areas of weakness, complementing my experience. And yes, I do think I'm in a better position for a VP role as a result
Thanks so much--looking forward to the free time.ʙ ᴜ ᴄ ᴋ ᴇ ʏ ᴇ ✭ ɴ ᴀ ᴛ ɪ ᴏ ɴ

Fawk Monday boyos. Had probably the most relaxing do nothing weekend since spring and it felt so damn good. I like to be pretty active but rotting and recharging every now and then is ok right?
The question I had to ask after finishing is do I always want the promotion? Before the education I would have said yes but after moving up some and experiencing more I decided I don't want to get to close to the top, the extra work and stress aren't worth the extra money to me.

Nothing wrong with being lazy and doing nothing. Sometimes that’s better than trying to be productive all the time.
- Your mindset influences your outcome. It's time to take out phrases like "I can't" or "I don't have time" and replace them with phrases like "I will make the time" and "I will keep working at it until I find a way that works." Success starts with the right mindset and believing in yourself and your dreams.
