It's time to take out phrases like "I can't" or "I don't have time" and replace them with phrases like "I will make the time" and "I will keep working at it until I find a way that works." Success starts with the right mindset and believing in yourself and your dreams.

Agree.
on the subject of whether or not its time to leave, you should be careful with that. no job environment is going to be perfect, there are difficult people everywhere you go and you really dont know what you could be getting yourself into by switching employers. only leave if youre completely miserable.
lol @ health4life - we can't trust your judgement, you like waking up at 4 AM

i like to exercise my forearms every day nom sayin?
lol
injury is a combination of things. one is a minor and persistent injury i sustained in college when i foolishly tried doing plyometric tricep extensions onto a punching bag. tweaked my elbow real good and it never really healed. part of it really was forearm exercises, specifically wrist curls on my seated cable row machine. also been hitting my biceps harder so theres a little tendinitis in there too.
yea, its good to really think things through when it comes to career. work is always going to be difficult, but as long as its tolerable at worst then youre in a good situation. some employers are truly abusive. that you want to avoid.

This is good advice, ''work is always going to be difficult.'' But, why must it be? I have a great job, great pay...it's just the culture.

good question. i think the real reason why work is difficult is because of people and their emotions including greed. its important to get a job you actually enjoy doing though. we spend the vast majority of our time at work and if youre unhappy at work itl negatively impact the rest of your life.

I also think in some respects people dream of a different lifestyle, more freedom, etc. but feel trapped in a lifestyle they dislike. They do it because they want the comfort and security that comes with working for someone and having a steady paycheck.
But you can’t change if you aren’t willing to take risks and step outside your comfort zone.
It can feel soul crushing to work for someone else, burn yourself out and not even make what you think you deserve.
Versus maybe the alternative, being your own boss, being able to set your own schedule, having the freedom to travel and do what you like, making money while you aren’t even working etc.
Or for some people it may mean working for someone else but working their dream job. Like doctor, nurse, etc. For some people it probably isn’t about being their own boss or working for someone else but what it is they are actually doing that gives them fulfillment.
Comes down to figuring out what it’s gonna take to make you happy.
I believe the 9-5 lifestyle isn’t for everyone and if that’s the case, the only way to break free is by stepping outside your comfort zone. But most people don’t want to do that. But at the same time, is it healthy to live a lifestyle that makes you depressed where you dread Monday - Friday, see a little hope Friday night into Sunday only to start getting miserable again Sunday evening because you got to go back to work?Last edited by health4life24; 08-17-2019 at 12:56 AM.
- Your mindset influences your outcome. It's time to take out phrases like "I can't" or "I don't have time" and replace them with phrases like "I will make the time" and "I will keep working at it until I find a way that works." Success starts with the right mindset and believing in yourself and your dreams.

yea i hear ya man, it all depends on your work situation as well as your marketable skills. if youve got the certifications and experience to open your own business then youd stand a chance to have alot more freedom and make more money. plus if it didnt work out you could just go back to working for a company.
