We had a wrestling dinner for my sons wrestling team 2 weeks ago, and I had to host/speak for most of the night. Lots of prep but glad its over

Busy morning but pushing paper the rest of the day. Just thankful to be in the office for a few days before leaving again next week. I've not traveled only three weeks of 2019 so far, but thankfully it's paying off.

tornado warnings all week in NJ, none ever touched down. We did have an earth quake a few years back...i was on the 3rd floor at work and the building was moving. It was crazy.

"Lost" my license and a credit card with a small amount of cash in my tuxedo pocket Saturday night when I gave it to the bride parents. Sebastian at the rental place grabbed them for me though, so I'm going to get them later.

a VERY distant family relative decided to drop by for a visit out of the blue and I am out everyone else in the family, have to take him around town and show him our great hospitality which is okay but not during Eid so I changed all my plans for this ****oot that I have never seen or heard of before.

I did a push workout, repeating a large superset with OH Extensions, Single hand pull downs, OH DB presses, push ups, plate squeeze's, and finally face pulls. Did it five times without rest because I had an early meeting today.

Tried to move a bit of steel, the grip of my players failed an I smashed my finger into the side into sharp galvanised steel.
Was a straight tap of blood instantly.
Clear trail up the driveway where I went to get a rag from the car. Couldn't find one an left a clear trail back down the driveway to ask the owners for some paper towel.
Lovely lady hooked me up with a bandaid of sorts.
Happend months ago an its still healing.
Fukked me up good.

I don't usually sit down for it, In the worst cases where I need to really prioritize my life, I head down to the beach outside my house, lay down a towel on the sand and just lay down and think.

I live in a routine driven flow, if that makes sense. I have kids and they work best with a routine, but we still like to go with the flow when possible. Some random road trips, etc to break up the monotony.

It being relatively relaxing with nothing to do, but picking up my truck rental. Have to mentally prepare myself to go back on the road next week, but that isn't too hard to do.
