Question Finger joint stiffness in the morning

I have started weight training since 3 months. I am spending average 40min a day, average 4 days in a week. When I started I was 158lb and now I am 144lb. My height is 5'8". Friends and families have been noticing a lot of good changes in my body. but recently I have been noticing that in the morning my fingers feel not comfortable to bend. Its not painful till the date but cannot bend it as usual. It goes away after a minute or so. I thought I was eating too much protein (almost 200gm average) a day and it is kind of side effect to it. I went to doctor yesterday and asked for blood test for uric acid and CRP test. I hope result will come tomorrow. Just wanted to know, is it normal to have finger bending problem as a strength training beginner?

I will post my result as soon as i get it.

If it is only a minute you are likely sleeping in a weird position.

I love to sleep on left side but all most every night at some point I feel my left hand become numb. Feels like blood flow is stopped on the left hand and I need to change the sleeping position to feel normal. Sleeping on stomach also gave me same issue. I have been trying to sleeping on back, hand numb problem is gone but finger bending stiffness problem is not gone.

I only experience this during a lifting session after lifting heavy ass weight, it takes a few seconds for my fingers to bend normally.

I think it may be best to stick with your Dr and see what they say. But this isn't a side effect of protein, no.

I experience this as well, but in my case (age) it's arthritis. I curl my fingers of one hand into my palm, and using the other hand, one at a time, gently push my fingernail into the palm of that hand. I just apply steady pressure, not forcing them into excruciating painful positions. This helps with my flexibility, stiffness, and soreness.
