I always felt Rockstar games were empty. Srs.
But fishing at night by a camp fire?? HNNNNNNNGGG.
Hunting bears, Cougars, and Jaguars?? HNNNNNNGGG.
I'm buying this sht Thursday night. Never been to a release, I'll be there for this.
Only question I have is the minimap. I had a very hard time keeping my eyes off the minimap on Witcher 3. I'm hoping it's Dynamic, it doesn't need to be there all the time, I can just check at certain pointsLast edited by MikeLowrrrey; 10-14-2018 at 09:58 PM.

One of the shops in my area said they sometimes get games early because some places in Europe / Middle East break release date so they get it imported to where I live from those places ... Said they MIGHT get RDR 2 earlier than the 26th as well.
Already reserved a copy so hoping I get mine earlier .... But I've also pre-ordered the digital edition so I'm fine with having the digital and physical version lool, whatever I get my hands on first.Sig line can't be a novel

MOAR INFO
"GTA V's Main Story is ~30 hours
RDR1's Main Story is ~20 hours
The Witcher 3's Main Story is ~50 Hours
Red Dead Redemption 2's Story is ~60 hours long. Wow."
"INFO: The game has 192 interactive mission scores. The music changes depending on your morality."
"INFO: Dan Houser says for research he consumed “hundreds” of books and films, “but nothing contemporary. I don’t want to be accused of stealing ideas.” He mentions Dickens, Henry James, Keats, Émile Zola, and Arthur Conan Doyle."
"INFO: The final script for Red Dead Redemption 2’s main story was about 2,000 pages. But if he were to include all the side missions and additional dialogue, and stack the pages, Dan Houser estimates the pile “would be eight feet high.” Even the NPCs have 80-page scripts — each."
"INFO: Rockstar were working 100-hour weeks several times in 2018. The finished game includes 300,000 animations, 500,000 lines of dialogue, and many more lines of code. Even for each trailer, they probably made 70 versions, but the editors may make several hundred."
"INFO: Red Dead Redemption 2 required 2,200 days of motion-capture work, requiring 1,200 actors, all SAG-AFTRA, 700 of them with dialogue."

78" 4k Samsung curved 240hz refresh rate TV
XBox One X

Surround sound Samsung audio
I'm ready.
Edit: I'll also heavily consider turning the minimap/HUD off.
I tried Witcher 3 due to the hype. Couldn't get into it. I think it's ideal for people who like the lore behind a game, has a ton of cutscenes and people talking/etc. Too much for me. Fallout 4 was the perfect game for me, I like being able to move like that a lot easier. The player mechanics/simply walking around was way too clunky. Being an adult also makes it 5x harder to get into a game. I'm definitely going to try with this game though.
Woah.....
That's ridiculous. I've never seen graphics like that. The most exciting thing to me is how night time looks, games never seem to get night time right.. it should be scary but instead looks like a dark dusk. These screens look... insane, and that snow storm, just wow.
Wow again. Thanks for posting this. I can't wait.
Games are something you enjoy so much as a kid and younger adult, it's so hard for me to get into a game but I know it's possible, this just might do it.
^ this. Some things are just deserving of our money.
