The hunting in this game to get cosmetics and pouches is such a waste of time .... Brb have to actually find "perfect" pelts .... it shudnt matter as long as u get a clean kill it ought to be a perfect pelt. I think one of the reasons i dropped it, apart from the fact that the game is a bit slow and mechanical ... to to get those upgrades for yourself and camp its such a grind.

One of my GOAT games. To truly get the most out of the game, follow the philosophical aspects of the game. That will pull you in to an immersive dimension that nothing else relatively pedestrian would, like graphics, controls, gameplay etc.

I fired up the xbox to check it out. Graphics are OK, but I have the OG xbox one and it's not 4k, so nothing spectacular. The voice acting is great, as is the story.

Controls/camera are absolutely awful, and everything is just so slow.

Not for me.

I really hate when I save that woman stuck under a horse then when I finally go to the city to drop her off, my horse pushes both of us off and she dies then I'm wanted...also when I went to help a stranger running away from something I rode up to him and just my horse touching him, he dies and I'm wanted again...

I quit after the first 3 months due to zero attention from Rock*. They really dropped the ball with Red Dead. Me & my boys were knee deep in GTA, so we were hyped for RDR. I geeked it to level 100, was likely one of the first on PS as I only seen a couple of people higher level than me once in a blue moon. They updated since but the first quarter there was nothing from them.

Nothing like the campaign world at all & resources are scarce af

Yes. 4K absolutely maxed out makes it the best looking game I've ever seen, played through the entire storyline that way.

I have. I don’t remember if it was like this on PS4 since its been awhile but on PS5, there was a weird blurry aura around Arthur when you moved the camera around. The hair looks worse than I remember too. Overall, it still looked great though.

Idk if its factor but I’ve read that PS5 has HDR always on so you need to turn it off if you want to play older games that don’t have it.

They should have went more a Elder Scrolls Online type MP for Red Dead. Different towns across the West, and a more epic journey. Though I could see why they didn't cost wise.
