Recovering from Knee Pain from Squats

I worked out legs on Thursday to include barbell squats. My knees have been buckling as I am coming up from the lift, due to my limited knowledge of weight lifting, I assumed that is me getting a good workout and not an indication of poor form. Today I tried to go for a run and within a minute my knees were killing me so I had to stop. I researched on here and on youtube the proper form for squats because apparently I am not doing them correctly. I picked up some tips and believe I am not pushing my knees out as I am pressing up.

I have been taking SNS Cissus XT for a while now for overall preventative maintenance. I was wondering if anyone has any other suggestions to help my knees recover quickly so I am able to run without issues?

    Don't have one, sorry.

I am more interested in how can I get my knees to recover. Any recommended supplements? Does walking or certain stretches help or should I avoid anything with my knees all together? Thanks.

Just going with the obvious here. You’re assuming it’s not form. Have you had knee pain prior to squatting?

    Dont run.
If you have knee pain from squatting running will just make it worse.
    Constant pounding on each leg.
Walking fast would be a better option.
Yes a video would give better feed back for people giving an opinion.
Knees bulking in sometimes indicates weak hips.

Sorry, perhaps my initial post was not clear.

Initially I assumed it was not form. Since I did some research this morning after I experienced pain during my run I have determined that it is form that was my issue. I am just worried about recovery at this point.

post a video for form check so we can help you fix it.

As previously stated, rest, icing, ibuprofen, stretching etc.. will help

Foam rolling around the area could help as well.
