haven't played since April I think.
it's getting to the point where weather is just cold so i'll start up again.

i expect it's going to be damn near impossible to find a group to run mid-level dungeons.

not a whole lot of toons in the leveling regions.
taren mill was the only place I saw anyone.
then ally ganked me. A lvl 60 lock threw corruption on my level 23 lock then ran away like a bat out of hell while my pet chassed after him and I drained life to try and stay alive.
At least stick around to finish me off proper like.
letting me waste away via dot is just lame.

gnomer was the lowest dungeon run I saw advertised.

Donno about classic but im on retail now.
Hit level 50 (new max level) and im getting 1 shotted by sht players.
dont even have time to do any rotation.
charge, ms,warbreaker and then im dead as they cast instants on me..
even with my Cooldown which reduces damage by 50% it still happens..
game is a joke.
I am undergeared yeah.. but that never used to be that bad.
have like 5 conquest pieces and its still happening.

also.. the ability for pve turbo virgin nerds to have an advantage with gear that took them months to get.. is retarded too.

I say bring back resilience so pvp gear actually means something and is worth farming.. and balance this trash out

ive had dark edge of insanity for awhile on my orc warrior. Arms with it is pretty insane in pvp but the burn out is real. Having a hard time logging other then raids or when im completely hammered.

im on sulfuras but willing to transfer.

Anyone raid on sunday evenings? Need a new guild for naxx cause of evening shifts at work.

Yup same. Was in STV level 39 warrior. Town was largely empty and got 1 shot by a 60 within 15 minutes.

Same, we got stopped at Saph because no wbuffs and not enough resist gear. I'm hoping we can clear next week

Back to playing.
found a new guild which is 95% the reason why i've been playing a few days a week.
new guild is large and active and not obsessed with end game content.
though they are helping people get attuned for UBRS. which is cool because i didn't start playing until shortly before TBC dropped.
enough players of all levels that people regularly do runs of whatever.

tanking in a guild run....people not only attack skull, they let you get a swing in before trying to melt the mobs face off.
healing in a guild run....the tank isn't squishier than the shammy with a shield who has to step up when he gets beat down faster than it takes to cast a heal spell.
DPSing in a guild run....tank is kind enough to turn the mob, people attack in order and use CC.
I'm enjoying the game again.

It’s coming, blizzard have sent out random surveys a couple times trying to gauge how the player base would like it to launch in terms of fresh servers classic characters naturally progressing to the new expansion etc etc

It will be insanely popular, no brainier for them.

I was not surveyed.
but for me, if they are going to release it this yr, it should be separate servers with one-time transfers. there is still chit to do on vanilla.
If they are going to wait the same 2.5 yrs then natural progression is fine with me.
though they could probably just keep vanilla around by merging a bunch of servers and people would be happy doing that for a while.

Yeah I'm pretty much just logging in to sell stuff on the AH and save gold for TBC at this point

haven't played classic in maybe 2 months. been heavy into shadowlands and gotta say, its pretty nice. I know I've said it earlier in the thread, but it's pretty active nowadays.

lots of people playing, easy to find groups.

Shadowlands was pretty fun for about a month then I just lost interest. Torghast was cool, arena was insanely imbalanced, didn't really get into mythics or raiding much. I dunno I guess I just prefer the nostalgia of the older games

Sub ends next week. Almost had my 3rd level 60 (54 atm). Decided to just call it. I can probably rush out and get 60, but just don't care enough.

My goal was to make this new character my main for BC (Undead Priest), but at the rate this game is going, I don't think BC will be all that exciting to play. The game requires a ton of commitment; and the amount of botting and upscale Gold in-game now just makes it less enjoyable.

Was a fun run, but Blizzard did want they intended to do: make old WoW a cash cow.

What will classic turn into once everyone migrates to TBC? Will people actually play the game instead of min maxing raid logging for world buffs? Will the hardcore people leave and the chill players stay? You can expect the same min max approach in tbc. I guess it’s part of the genre and that’s why mmos are dead.

Apparently all the gold farmers are gonna take all their gold to TBC. Gonna kinda suck when people know what to anticipate and all the crafted gear is not affordable.

Also everyone is going to boost whatever the strongest classes are since apparently everyone gets 1 boost? So everyone will boost either a warlock, hunter, or shaman.

To me for these two reasons it looks kind of lame.

Seal of blood on alliance and pre-nerf bosses are good decisions, but I'm not really hyped. Maybe I'm just over wow.
