got like 3k gold, really nothing to do

This is kinda weird, but I’ve made it all the way to level 58 and I am feeling kinda burnt out or tired of it. Like once I get to 60 I just grind for epic mount and get best in slot gear? I dunno just kinda tired of the game I think. Does it even get better at 60?

Not really. Now all you get to do is spam dungeons for pre bis then raids for bis. Everything at this point is just checking off an item on a spreadsheet.

Got back on my warrior after about 6 months. Never raided ZG back in the day but my one goal of classic was to try and get the tiger mount. Still the coolest mount in WoW imo. Did a pug a few days ago and we went through without any problems so time to try to make that goal a reality.

They don't release like fresh servers every now and again do they? I'd be up to leveling again but sounds like chit

I feel Classic is kinda dead. The player base who still plays is nothing like launch last summer.

You level a new character and half the people are mages, tons of people multiboxing 5 toons, tons of griefers, and tons of people who leave dungeon groups. That is, if you can even find a dungeon group, since so many dungeon runs are just sold by high level mages.

Not sure what realm you play on but it's packed for me, feels just like launch. Still having fun with ZG/BWL, love the game, have two 60s (hunter/warlock)

Haven't experienced any of the problems you've stated.

yup, it's the opposite. the population keeps growing as classic goes on

You guys are right, that the game is definitely better because there's more players, so it helps people who need to PuG groups instead of committing to Guilds. I think the "dead"ness of the game is the lack of people who want to play video games for the "fun" of it. "Fun" is subjective to each player, but there's people like Kokanee and I who just want to log in, chill and find groups, and play. I tend to prefer solo play due to limited time, but it's nice to group.

On my server, it's a ton of boosting going on, and every 5th character is a mage due to the gold farm. It just takes away from the game if you don't keep up with the hardcore players. It was like that back then, but it's worse because people legit no-life this game. Even AH items I want to buy are vastly overpriced, and it's not worth spending gold on.


I will say this: I've played on Deviate Delight, and I find the low pop servers more fun to play with. Less raging and spam from players, and very chill when grouping. Even higher levels are willing to jump in and help you complete quests.

How good is the proc from the ZG fist weapons? I’m trying to get the warblades for my fury warrior but I got the mh 2 runs ago and the oh fist weapon on my last run. Figured I might as well try to complete them both now but I kinda want to turn into a tiger person.

The whole delete your character, have someone take your name, and then get your character restored thing.

Seems pretty risky but I just picked something when I server transferred and I’m starting to hate it.

It’s nothing fancy. Named it after the character Henryk from Bloodborne because my old name was taken and I’m starting to hate it.

I want to like it. But objectively it's just not good. Well ... It would be if it had taken some of the better systems of retail without ruining classic. Like better UI and quests. But keep long leveling, gear progression, and social aspects.

But basically you can never go back.

idk I had a blast. Just didn't have time for it anymore.

Retail imo feels very chincey and devoid of accomplishment outside of high level pvp/raiding.

Randomly decided to try WoW Classic today. Already regret buying a month subscription.

Forgot how insanely grindy classic was.

brb - kill 82 enemies to get 1 drop of 10 needed for a quest
brb - took me what feels like 37 hours to get to level 10

Also, I forgot how insanely weak and squishy priests were in classic. In regular WoW you could frickin facetank 3-4 mobs at a time with ease and basically never run out of mana. Classic...just trying to take on 2 = run out of mana in 2 seconds.
Yeah...I can't do this. lol
Makes me realize how nice the improvements actually are that Blizzard made to the game over all the years compared to this.

yes, you can pick up the quests again whenever you want

Get a wand at level what is it 6 and just dot then wand / renew. Plus get that move that regenerates mana after you kill something

i played wow in 2005-2008 so none of this level grind was "new" to me.

as per the dungeons, youre a priest man... youll find instant groups for everything. level 25-50 as a priest will take like 2 days since you just aoe grind SM-ZF with mages/locks, then 50-60 youll do the same thing in BRD.


i can only imagine how fast you would havge quit if you had been leveling a warrior instead lol.

I played it literally when it released, like, 16 years ago. I'm old brah. Played probably thousands of hours in WoW and BC...
I just forgot how bad it was I guess compared to regular WoW.
