No, but they are going to allow a one time level boost to 58 for a price. Well worth it if you haven't leveled a character.

They also have some scheme that charges you to keep you character in vanilla and in TBC. Seems weird and will only impact those that want to play both vanilla and TBC.

I don't remember, when TBC dropped did leveling speed increase for lower level toons?

Pumped about TBC, didn't give two chit about classic since I played a chit town when it was current 16 years ago and raided all the way up to NAXX.

But TBC is when I quit WoW for 10 years and skipped out on almost all of TBC thru WoD.

Also, I'm happy Blizz is giving us one 58 boost.

It's impossible with my class schedule. Last time I played I quested in Stranglethorn and got 50% of the way to the next level, and spent a third of the time ghost running because of ganks.

Can't do it fam, lol. These are different times.

Yes they increased the leveling speed in TBC

TBC is the perfect mix of classic leveling + viable talents/classes

Can't decide what class to play going into TBC. Looking at the following:

1. Hunter. 1 button macro and top dps. Good at pvp.
2. Druid. Good tank, top healer, and great at world pvp for feral and all pvp as resto.
3. Shammy. All three specs are good. Lust is always needed. I want to live the 5 shammy arena team of lust and chain lightning spam.
4. Priest. Great at all aspects of the game. Shadow is wanted for its mana battery abilities.

It will still work with gnome sequencer, but honestly the rotation is so easy that even without the macro it will dominate. Same with warlock.

I'm starting to lean towards enh shammy. Since it is later patch I can mainhand and offhand the crafted weapon. I have the gold for them I believe. Just have to level up blacksmithing between now and launch.

Bro and I going to level double rogue and mainly go for world pvp/arenas. Double rogue mace stun. I remember vs that as a warrior/H pally and they would wreck us most of the time. I like that combo as well because you won't have those 30-1hr fights, will be over quick.

That is if they release fresh servers, we ain't playing servers with millions of gold already.

Either Paladin (the class I played from vanilla till I quit in cata) for nostalgia purposes

Or a Mage because I’ve never played one and from what I remember their tier sets looked money like plus they’re strong across the board.

So for nostalgia's sake, I asked Blizzard if they could restore my Burning Crusade-era account over the weekend, and they did. I have no idea WTF is going on but my tauren hunter woke up with his old shotgun in Thousand Needles and was instantly murdered, had to swim out then fight his way back to the Barrens. Seems some chit went down in the interim.

I know Classic is a completely separate thing. I'm pretty casual and don't have a ton of time, mostly play games on Sunday afternoons, but wouldn't mind having a group to roll with. Wat do, is there a Misc guild or something?

pretty sure most miscers rolled on herod at launch? and had a misc guild but it died soon after. doubt many still play classic
