He was hated by the warrior community as a whole for getting a strong nerf bat on Warriors for it. Regardless of what happened or his intentions it was 1 of the first pieces of evidence Blizz would nerf something if it was seen to be godlike*.
















* And by Godlike I mean can be kept alive by multiple healers and BoF'd so he cannot be slowed and Piercing Howl could slow the entire enemy team within a good radius.

Plus MMO's survive on a fraction of WoW's player base dont they? I'm pretty sure there's enough subs to carry it until Blizz is ready for WoW 2.

I know its all fantasy but the storyline is just so loose now and too dependent on deus ex machina far fetched crap. I mean, there were all these islands on azeroth that we could never go to before but now we can...we go back in time to an alternate draenor...etc...

that is why I really liked the concept of Cataclysm bringing everything back to EK and Kalimdor with some slight changes, it just wasn't that well done for me.

I hope by the end of this xpac we are back on the main 2 continents instead of flying through space. I'd really like the next xpac to be new content in maybe some reinvented zones on the main 2 continents instead of discovering new places...they have the phasing capability to do that now to not ruin the old leveling experience for newbs. make sense? Its just too out there.

LMAO, it reminds me of the absurdity of one of the horde's first missions, the one where you have to go into SW to rescue the Zandalar trolls from the stockades. I remember thinking how ludicrous it was to evade both Jaina and Genn, who were RP walking at a snail's pace even though they knew some of the horde's most dangerous agents are in the city BTW, only for Jaina to finally catch you and then do nothing because she has to play firefighter. She is arguably the strongest mage in Azeroth, yet she doesn't have a single spell in her arsenal to stop us from escaping. Just lol.

Yeah ever since Cata the story has become a jumbled mess. And you know what drives me up the wall? In all the cutscenes the characters talk like Horatio Caine - ****in one liners, slow speech, and dramatic pauses.

The story around WC3 was incredible, it possessed my 12 year old mind when I bought the game.

That sucks, maybe try vanillawowmovies. I also have a random raid video that stuck with me too. It was actually the first raid vid I ever saw, back during early MC progression.

Our guild was too strong though... Not much fun when you have zero chance to lose the pvp matches.

I started playing again for the first time since just before lich king release. Somethings are absolutely great about the new versions, but so much of the planning and skill are gone.

I found out like a month ago that the old forums were gone and was fukking HEATED. So much history just gone (unless it's archived? pls). I was very active on Stormscale's forums and I hate I can't go back and see how fukking stupid I was as a teenager.

I was alliance - I had a hunter that I raided heavily with named Adrick and switched to rogue named Corova and just PvP'd shortly before BC

I raided with the guilds Guffaw and Gothic. Were you alliance or horde?

I played alliance, but I didnt play till tbc. I started in shadow riders and ended up in reign of darkness. A few of them from vanilla still play. I did arenas with a priest from gothic named ally in wrath.
