Im not even a fan of Jeremy, but he does have skill and has vastly improved in recent times

I've noticed that "liver punch" or "liver shot" has almost become a catch-all term in combat sports dialogue which basically encompasses any shot to the body that seriously hurts an opponent.

I think most of the people who use it know that already since the liver sits on the right side of the body.

Plus there's usually a chance it grazed the liver anyway since it wraps around the front, too.

Fuking with the diaphragm is a major pain to deal with.

When I got my gallbladder out I got an air bubble caught underneath it, and I could barely breath for the better part of 24 hours.


It was far and way the worst consistent pain I've ever dealt with. So I can imagine getting hammered in the diaphragm, combining the pain and inability to breath is like hell.

rewatched the fights, got chills when aldo won. one thing is for sure...you cannot hide the pain in body shots. seen it so many times in boxing and mma

so many mistakes by alvarez. dumb rule but no idea why he did that elbow, the corner seemed like they called it. but dude cheated with that cage grab, they need to make the rules stricter. automatic pt deduction I say. he probably lost 5 years of his life with that tko. "if he dies, he dies"

Dustin's been fighting a lot, he should wait for winner of conor/khabib. take some time off and improve his game. but he's a people's fighter and will probably take another fight lol

Well Jeremy lost to a slower, clumsier and less methodical Aldo. His corner was swearing and begging him to come to his senses after he got caught near the fence.
Notice that Jeremy's mythos of 'no fighter being able to bang with him' was built on crumbling sand?
As soon as Aldo got angry and aggressive and started pushing forward you could see Stephens kinda go wild and flail.

Remember the when Stephens got countered a upper cut by Aldo as he ruished in with lazy af feints?
Look at Stephens stance when he exchanged with Aldo. How square he was. I assume you know that isn't something you want to do.

yeah alvarez just went potato in that fight, just like he did against conor. honestly after watching all of his fights he probably doesn't have much life to lose lol because all of his fights are just bleed
