    Controlled Labs Red Light log - let’s finish this cut!

    First of all, big thanks to Controlled Labs for the opportunity to try this new fat burner/digestion aid/test booster. I’m a faithful user of Orange Triad and White Flash and I have high expectations for Red Light.

    Background info - I’m a newcomer to fitness and bodybuilding and am in the process of shedding a lifetime of unwanted body fat before starting my first bulk. At my largest, I weighed 275 pounds, which was last year. I made the decision to finally make a change at that point. As of today I weigh 184.6 pounds.

    Nutrition - I am currently eating 1750-1800 calories daily on average. I don’t stick to a set macro breakdown but I always meet my minimum protein and fat intake.

    Workout - I am running the allpro beginners routine which is a full body 3x a week program. I don’t do any cardio with the expection of some walking with the dog and kiddo. I will be starting my second cycle of the program Monday 7/30. I haven’t lifted in a while. I was on vacation for a week, then injured my back and missed another week. I’ve just done some light warmup set work this week.


    I received my bottle of Red Light today and I will be taking my first dose before breakfast tomorrow. I’m looking forward to seeing the results from this product and sharing my experience here.

    I’ll be posting my daily morning weigh in, as well as my daily caloric intake and macros. I’ll also be posting any side effects I notice, and if I feel any differently in general while taking Red Light.

    Took both doses again yesterday before dinner and before lunch.

    Didn't do much activity wise this weekend with the exception of mowing my lawn yesterday. I'll be in the gym tonight lifting.

    Thoughts on Red Light so far: Haven't noticed any side effects. I have noticed I'm less gassy, possibly due to the digestion aid component. Too early to form any opinion on fat burning performance.

    I can absolutely say at this point that Red Light is a fantastic appetite suppressant. Sticking to my calorie intake goal without excess hunger has been much easier. Still no side effects to report.

    So I ate a good deal more carbs than normal yesterday and also a really salty dinner, and I'm definitely feeling a bit bloated this morning.
    Anyway, here's today's update. Still taking my doses of Red Light before breakfast and lunch.

    Hit the gym after work yesterday for heavy day of week 2 of cycle 2 (9 rep day). Everything felt great. Wanted to get some cardio in but it was way too hot outside for a walk/jog so I added in half an hour walking on the treadmill at a steep incline.

    Still feeling the carb bloat from Sunday, and I'm also feeling quite constipated today. Just not feeling great overall today. I don't think Red Light is at all to blame for that in any way. My body doesn't handle cheat days very well after behaving diet wise for so long now.

    Yesterday was a rest day, gym tonight for lifting and some cardio.

    Hit the gym last night for light day of 9 rep week (week 2) of my second cycle of allpro. All the lifts felt great. Followed the lifting up with 20 minutes on the rower.

    Won't be in the gym til Monday, just having a relaxing weekend hanging out with the kiddo today and going to see the Red Sox play tomorrow. I might go for a jog tonight, weather permitting. I've been feeling back to normal since yesterday afternoon, thankfully.

    Red Light continues to be a killer appetite suppressant. I tried taking my second dose after dinner a couple of days and I prefer to take it after lunch, since it helps curb snack cravings during the afternoon.

    Had a busy day yesterday going to Baltimore to see my Red Sox win again and didn’t get a chance to post. Will sum up what I missed now.
    As far as food intake for both days this past weekend, I did a lot of eating out and had to guess almost all of my calories/macros. Judging by the direction the scale moved this morning, I obviously underestimated my true caloric intake. I also forgot to take my morning dose of Red Light before breakfast/leaving the house yesterday and forgot to bring a dose along for before lunch/dinner. I took one dose when I got home from Baltimore around 11:30 PM.

    I’ll be laser focused this week on staying on track with my food intake and limiting eating things I didn’t prepare/weigh out myself as much as possible. I’ll also be getting back into the gym tonight and will be adding cardio on the Concept 2 at the end of every lifting session this week.

    Got my diet back on track yesterday and hit the gym last night. Did week 3 (10 rep sets) heavy day of the Allpro program. Failed my last rep on my second set of bench press, so I'll have to bump the weight back down on that lift. My chest is so weak you guys. Can't wait to finish cutting so I can really work on strengthening my chest during my first bulk. Followed up my lifting session with a really good 30 minute rowing session.

    Not too much to report from yesterday, it was a rest day. Gym tonight for weights and rowing. I continue to be impressed by the appetite suppression qualities of Red Light. It has made sticking to my caloric intake goal soooo much easier!

    Activity for yesterday included mowing my lawn after dinner, then hit the gym for medium weight day of 10 rep week (all lifts felt great), followed by 20 minutes on the rower.

    Broke into the 170's with today's weigh in!

    Yesterday was a rest day, no real activity to speak of. Been feeling really good this week, no real hunger/craving issues to report at all. I'm losing weight at about the same rate I was before I started my Red Light log, but just for the appetite suppression characteristics alone, this stuff is on point. I've already gone ahead and ordered my second bottle to finish up this cut.

    I'll be in the gym tonight to wrap up week 3 of this cycle of Allpro, followed by my date with the Concept 2.

    Lifted last night followed by 25 min on the Concept 2.
    But more importantly, I did chin ups for the first time ever in my entire life!! Only did two, but still!

    So I had a crazy morning today and totally forgot to weigh myself.

    Last night's workout was fantastic. Felt strong as hell on all my lifts and put in a great 25 minute session on the rower.
