    I would like to gain 10 pounds in 3 weeks

    I am a 14 year old boy going into high school next year. All my life I have been underweight and skinny. I don’t have any condition or anything like that I just don’t eat a lot at all. I am currently weighing 94 pounds. School for me starts in 3 weeks and my goal is to weigh around 105 pounds by then. If anybody can help me out by telling me a good diet I can do to gain this weight or any other input would be greatly appreciated.

    Gaining 10lbs in 3 weeks will mostly be fat. As a teenager (I did this alot), you'll always have the "I've got to be this heavy by this date" or "I've got to lift this much before this date." This should not be how you think. Rather, focus on eating a caloric surplus with atleast 1g protein per lb bodyweight, workout hard and go heavier every week and get lots of rest. Before you know it, you'll be strong and weigh alot more. Setting a "Get quick strong" goal just so that you can be happy with your body as a teenager is a recipe for failure. Focus on your weekly lifts, nutrition, and rest, and you'll be guaranteed to gain muscle over time.

    Find a program somewhere, don't make your own, and figure out what you need to eat to reach your caloric surplus. You'll gain 50lbs in a year or so and be much happier than if you gained 8lbs of fat and 2lbs of muscle in 3 weeks.

    You don't need a specific diet, just eat more and more frequently. Increase portion size, try to eat more rice and pasta. Shakes can help a lot since they go down very easy.There is a lot of things you could throw in a shake, example ingredients are bananas and other fruits, milk/juice, oats, peanut butter, nuts, honey, avocados...

    Drinking milk is for me the easiest way to get a lot of calories. Drink a lot of it if you can handle it. Juice also works fine but has no protein. However, it seems your concern is your weight and not muscles, so that doesn't matter too much.

    Always have snacks like bananas and nuts around you, and milk. Just eat some of it every now and then.

    You'll probably not gain 10 pounds in that short amount of time, but give it a few more weeks and you'll be good.

    Stop it right there. You're 14. Just eat things you like and eat to satiation. You'll fill out.

    We don't know his height so we don't know if he is underweight.

    Additionally, even when treating people with anorexia inpatient (not saying OP has an eating disorder, just giving an example), we don't aim for more than 1kg bodyweight gain per week.

    Didrbebdj, you should talk to your pediatrician about this.
