    Your favorite Asian cooking sauces?

    I am looking for some Asian sauces to put on my meat/food. I LOVE hot sauce but I need to switch it up every now and then and one thing about Chinese cooking is it requires alot of different sauces to get that taste. I recently bought some General Tso's sauce. Its tasted HORRIBLE. I am looking for a Chinese chicken and brocolli taste but I like Japanese food and other cultures too. This is just to get some variety to maintain consistency. Plus its fun. So what do you bros use besides soy sauce? Oh and please don't say Sriracha, I am not a fan of it.

    This is exactly what you want for the "chicken and brocolli" taste.

    Cook your meat, then throw in the broc**** with this for 5 - 10 minutes and you are golden. Basically cook the sauce down until it's the consistency you want.

    This if you want a spicy "chicken and brocolli" taste, use half the classic with this sauce. (IMO the szechuan by itself is too hot by itself to enjoy fully)

    As for my favorites: Korean Barbecue, Hoison (Oyster sauce if you need less sweet version) and Pure Sesame Oil.

    I could eat noodles with just the pure sesame oil and be a happy camper...so good

    Here are my favorite brands of each (You can probably find better Korean BBQ sauce than what i have linked, it's just what I use. The other brands are top notch.)

    These are all good, and a friend of mine who came here from Viet Nam got me hooked on that Maggi seasoning as well, he puts that stuff on everything.

    Oh dude, I saw that the other day and I always see it but I wasn't sure what it was. I thought it was broth cubes in liquid form. The fish sauce I like is a Filipino one I saw at a Thai place and it's got a spicy citrusy aspect to it. Definitely better than normal fish sauce. I keep a small packet of that fish flake the Japanese use for miso soup to add to non-fish stuff for that umammi.

    Also if you mix Hawaiian into the mix, Huli Huli sauce is pretty good too. Got dat Asian flavor

    Might have to try some of these. I’ve been eating bro-collie with grilled chkn thighs about everyday. I use 10oz steamed bro-collie, 5-7oz grilled chkn thighs adding 45-60ml of “G Hughes Original” sugar Free BBQ sauce and crushed red pepper flakes. Tastes a lot like general tsao chicken. It’s one of my current favorite meals.
