Huge thanks to Muscletech for sending me 3 bottles of their Clear Muscle to log! Very excited to try this product out, I've read a lot of reviews, followed past logs and have heard a lot of positive about this supp. I'm hoping to see a a big improvement in recovery which should allow me to push thru more sessions and get extra work in during those sessions. My biggest goal right now is build on my consistency, between some injuries and life I've not been spending the time I was in the gym and my nutrition probably hit a low I had not seen since before I started lifting. Friday night was my first session back in after tweaking my back, Friday and yesterday went well, I've been tracking my macros, getting my vitamins back in again so overall this should be a positive 84 days and I'm hoping to see some great changes in myself.
As of this morning I was at 339, when I began lifting back in 2012 I was about 350-360, I had worked myself down to about 270 and felt great, over the past few years things have really dropped off on all levels. Right now I'm not following any specific plan but will be working on a 4-5 day lifting split. I'll do most my lifting at my local gym, Golds...I may try to work in some extra work and cardio in my little gym we have at work during lunch hour. I plan on getting back to my meal prep and have been cutting out sugars and cutting way back on breads and other carb sources. Below is a pic I got with our boy Ray at the San Jose Fit Expo yesterday, I'm not happy with my part of the pic but it is my starting point now.
Feel free to check out my journal, https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showt...hp?t=175642101 has more background and follow along if you'd like!! Let's get this going!
Hit some chest and tricep work Friday evening, Back and bicep work yesterday and looking to get some delt and trap work in either this afternoon or this evening! Should have an update posted by nights end!

What's good all! Been a crazy evening, not sure if I'll be prepping a few meals or heading out to the gym at this point. Started on the Clear Muscle yesterday, doing the recommended dosing right now which is two caps three times a day, no digestive issues or anything like that to report.
Got some good BBQ in last night, all the skirt steak went but plenty of left over chicken for a few meals, used some for lunch today with some black beans and veggies.

What's good all! Been an interesting start over here, just as I was getting going I had doc tell me to hold off on any lifting while he reviewed some scans of my back that were apparently delayed in getting to him. But all is good, or good as it will be, dealing with past injuries. With that, should be back in the gym this evening. How's everyone else doing this week? If you have used CM in the past, did you stick to regular dosing or switch it up? Have been thinking about going for 3 caps in the AM and 3 in the PM.

Past issues go back to when I was about 14, almost shattered a vertebrae, stress fractures through another one and squished a few discs into pancakes. That I was told I'd have issues with the rest of my life. A few months back when I got to lifting more consistently again, I was squatting and hitting DL's 2-3 times a week and I think again, tried to jump up in the amount of weight I was moving too fast. Hit a back day and was feeling it in a not good way within hours. Got super bad, had to have kids help just to get socks on, could not bend or twist at all, sitting in a chair or the car was painful!

Whats's good all! Trying to get some updates in. Been taking the Clear Muscle, no issues or anything negative to report. Hopefully this next week, start pushing through some more sessions. Yesterday hit Shoulders, ran everything as a circuit which I really haven't done before but it felt good, gym was quiet enough I didn't have to worry about someone jumping on something when I was at a different station etc.
Hit 5 rounds of the following:
Seated OH DB Press
Face Pulls
Straight Arm - Front Raises (cables)
DB Lateral Raises
Arnold Presses
Overall session went well, definitely felt the difference from doing one exercise or a super set at a time. Not sure I'd say I prefer it more but I may look to rotate in this type of training when I can - depending on how full the gym is. Hoping to get a session in this evening, family is in town and I know we have a family dinner but still want to push through a session!IG/Snapchat: qstick99

Thank you for checking in! Yeah, I've been getting some sessions in around everything else. I'm not following a specific plan at this point, I was looking at some but my pool league team qualified for the big yearly tournament in Vegas so I'll be heading there Sunday and staying for at least 3 nights, if it goes well could be there for a week. Friday I have to head to Reno to pick up my mother from my sisters and head back Saturday. So with these trips lined up I didn't want to jump into a program, during my time in Vegas I plan on trying to not over indulge and hopefully hit the gym in the hotel. When I get home, I think I'm going to jump into a plan though. I've been getting sessions in either at Golds or my gym at work. The one at work is not too crazy but it has DB, adjustable benches, kettlebells and a cable machine so I'm able to get some work in there. Ideally I'd like to get my weight work in at Golds and use the gym at work for cardio and some extra arm work.

Definitely, form is huge and some extra warm ups have been helping, respecting the weight and moving back slowly on some movements also!
Need to get some updates in, ended up in Reno for a family deal, then Vegas for a pool league, championships, been back grinding though...will get some updates in this weekend!IG/Snapchat: qstick99

What's up all, happy Saturday. Sipping my PWO now getting ready for the gym, got a session in last night, wasn't good at all, mind wasn't in it. Will post up some of the recent workouts later this afternoon. Hope everyone is good!

What's good all, quick update -
Hit some delt work on Thursday - session itself was good, did it in a circuit style...quick, painful and felt good about the session overall. Ran thru, lateral raises, front raises, face pulls, bent over rear lateral raises and Arnold Presses.
Friday I hit a chest session, honestly it was the worst session I've had in a long time, maybe all together. Had some things going on that day, in general it was just bad and the mind was gone. I went through and hit some flat, decline and incline work and finished with some fly's.
Hit a great back workout yesterday morning with some cardio, then some yardio. Started with BB Rows, then hit Pendlay Rows, Rack pulls, two variations of seated cable rows then plate loaded lat pull downs and finished with wide grip lat pull downs. Wrapped up with 30 minutes on the treadmill, incline walk then went home and knocked out a few hours of yardio, fitbit had me at 15k steps by 3pm, not bad!
Clear Muscle is going well, I am feeling a slight improvement in recovery. I've had no issues in taking the pills or anything, hopefully as it starts to set in more see more improved recovery!IG/Snapchat: qstick99

Thank you, mindset was just spun, normally the gym helps when I'm like that but not that day, but bounced back great, step wise I ended around 18k for Saturday. Overall, feeling good, huge changes in the nutrition area, from the pic I posted in the intro for this log I'm down between 21-24lbs, a long ways to go but a great start!

What's good all, still rolling along here, been getting more sessions in at the small work gym than at Golds, hopefully that will change this week! Last week was pretty crazy between pool league playoffs, some birthday celebrations for my daughter and myself, this coming week should kind of get back to normal.
Noticing a difference in recovery with clear muscle, hard to gauge due to the different type of workouts I've been getting in at my work gym, more circuit style than my normal sessions I'd get at Golds. Hopefully this week I'll get some good heavy sessions in and see how the recovery mode is at this pointIG/Snapchat: qstick99
