    Weight loss deficit or not to deficit?!

    Figures approx

    Two years ago I prepped on 1700 going down to 1150 cals
    20 hiit cardio fasted in morning
    40 mins ss cardio post training in eve
    Carbs 40g every 3-4 days

    This year I prep on 700 cals with 30 mins fasted ss and 30 mins eve 5x a week
    Zero carbs or fats with a refeed once a month.
    Dropping same rate now as before...

    Both dropping slower than first prep with one fat day and one carb day a week.:: Metabolism was shot to pieces after that year of dieting for 38 weeks for three shows...

    Thoughts?
