Hi Everyone!
I have a question about the kind of socks girls are supposed to wear to the gym. I noticed that every single girl in my gym wears her sneakers without any socks showing at all. So I tried the no show socks but they caused smelly feet and mind you I wash my feet carefully in the shower! Anyway, I went back to wearing ankle socks just to avoid the bad feet odor, but I feel very unstylish wearing them to the gym. I literally feel like I’m the only girl who’s wearing them! So am I right by assuming that I look nonstylish with my ankle socks? And if you think that I am then what would you recommend that I wear instead?

I can think of nothing I care about less than the stylishness of my sock choice in the gym. As a matter of fact, I wear neon orange socks designed for circulation improvement to my spin class, regardless of the rest of my outfit choice that morning.

I wear vibrams (have quite a few pairs) no socks and wash them a couple times a week.

OP I wouldn’t worry about what type to wear. Just make sure your clothing is safe for the physical activity. I hope you wear shower shoes if you use the gym shower they provide.

I'm the opposite of the no show. I wear knee-hi socks almost every time, but I also wear them to work because I work on my feet all shift and find they help a little with shin pain. Compression might be better but those are more expensive, plus there are some fun designs with knee-hi socks. And helps when doing deadlifts though still end up with the occasional bruising.

I try to wear ankle socks, bot only because my leggings are mesh at the bottom. Sometimes I forget to bring some, sometimes I wear leggings without a see-through-part at the bottom (then I cba, just normal socks).
