    Found a lot of motivation in the forums here and decided to start a log to help keep track of my workouts and thoughts along the way. I look forward to interacting with everyone and learning from all the great people here.

    44 Year Old Male
    5' 9"
    Current weight as of 7/9/18: 282.4 lbs

    I have always been overweight since my late teens and tried many attempts to workout, eat healthy, etc. and for one reason or another I gave up. Now I am giving this another shot. Slow and steady wins the race, they say. So, on May 14th I started again. Joined the local gym, joined the local 9 Round gym to get in some extra calorie burning on non-lifting days, and started tracking my food and making smart choices. I started at 301.6 and am down to 282.4 as of today. I feel a million times better just from that first 20 pounds and am looking forward to what the future holds.

    Weekly Routine:

    2 days of 9 Round
    2 days of stretching routine to increase flexibility
    3 day Full Body 5x5 routine below:

    Day 1:
    Hack Squat
    Flat Bench (on the floor)
    Rack Pulls
    Barbell Press

    Day 2:
    Sumo Deads
    Pendlay Rows
    Arnold Press
    Dips (Assisted)

    Day 3: Landmine Day
    Chest Press
    T-Bar Row
    Kneeling Press
