Failed a 345 squat tonight. Hold me misc (VIDEO) + 315x5

Tried for a 345 at a bw of 153.5-154 after a 315x5 set. I’ll get the 315x5 vid up when I’m home. Shouldn’t have done 315 for 5 and I’d have hit 345 for sure. Would’ve been a +5 lb pr at this bodyweight

315x5 should give you an easy 345 for at least a double though :/ Pretty sure fresh you can hit 365 for a single. Miring strength to bw ratio hard

I don’t do too well above 335 for reps yet I don’t think. When I hit 315x8 or 335x6 back when I was mid 180s-190 I barely hit 365 on my IG

Goal is to hit 365 at this weight in a few months tho

don't switch to low bar *******, take advantage of your asian squatting genes and squat high bar. keep your elbows tighter and pull the bar into your back. im 100% srs you could have gotten it if you were a little tighter (semi homo)

Yep, tonight's failure only told me that I can hit that chit easy in a few days after some rest. Also told me I need to set the pins one notch down lower because I literally am doing a bit of a mini-calf raise to get the weight out.

pull the bar into your back (like really pull into your back) and slow your descent down a bit. you won't get much of a bounce as before but it'll be easier to control the weight. also let the weight settle before going for another rep.

Step 1. Be a manlet
Step 2. Complete a bulk to absolute bloat modes while increasing squat strength
Step 3. Cut down while keeping squat strength the same. Then increase from that low BW.
Step 4. Be a manlet
Step 5. Squat 3x a week OR MORE for fun

Yea the inverse of the Manlet quad perk is the manmore hamstrings. Quads are more aesthetic IMO but I don’t mind the jacked hams
