Grabbed a box of Cotton Candy Captain Crunch. Interesting. This might be delicious.

Edit: Smell is on point, heavy cotton candy scent. Taste wise, it's good but really just tastes very sugary (no sht, that's cotton candy) but not what I'd really nail as cotton candy. Decent but unless you love sugar overload I'd skip it.

Waiting now for a tub of Magnum's preworkout from a promo, sounds promising both in profile and flavor; went with the Strawberry Marshmallow Candy or Blue Shark Candy if that's not available.

What are Peptides: Peptides are biologically occurring short chains of amino acid monomers linked by peptide (amide) bonds. Peptides occur naturally in every cell of every living thing. Peptides are made up of less than 50 amino acids.

Tripeptide: A tripeptide is a peptide consisting of three amino acids joined by peptide bonds.

Dipeptide: A dipeptide is a sometimes ambiguous designation of two classes of organic compounds: Its molecules contain either two amino acids joined by a single peptide bond or one amino acid with two peptide bonds.

Oligopeptide: Oligopeptide consists of two to twenty amino acids and can include dipeptides, tripeptides, tetrapeptides, and pentapeptides.

Can peptides improve your training? Peptides have been shown to elevate glycogen, growth hormone and insulin. When peptides are digested they are more readily used by the body. Peptides are also more stable in the body vs. un-bonded amino acids. Smaller di and tri-peptides are easily absorbed in the small intestine. This allows for more efficient metabolization and greater bio-activity.

What's the latest feedback on peptides: When incorporated with frequent and advanced training programs users are reporting noticeable improvements in muscle recovery, muscle growth and fat loss. Insulin and growth hormone drive protein synthesis. Peptides have been shown to have a greater effect on insulin and growth hormone vs free form amino acids.

Select Cake Pop in Fairlife <3 O.O

This even smells pretty good like vanilla buttercream in aroma It's very good

I do have a few issues with some aspects of it which are secondary; primarily its more semi-sweet and mild, the flavor is really good overall creamy-light a vanilla cream more or less, not as sweet as it initially smelled. Would certainly agree with what I seen of Bob's review of it even on that aspect pretty fair review IMO. Would also have liked a bit more butteryish like flavor alongside that sweeter flavor, that I had gotten in the initial aroma hit. Would have put it a bit closer to vanilla buttercream taking it from a 10/10 to an 11/10.

That said I wouldn't hesitate to order it again.

Sorry Kbayne, but not a fan of the new Cake Pop flavor. I love Gourmet Vanilla and I figured from descriptions, it might just be a sweet variation of that. Unfortunately I don't get any flavoring of a cake pop or cake batter kind of flavor. It just tasted like a light vanilla lacking that is sweet and lacking flavor depth. Gourmet Vanilla has a lot of flavor depth and legit tastes like a fancy vanilla ice cream(I made ice cream with it and it tastes like authentic vanilla custard). Cake Pop was light on flavoring and quite a thin mixing powder.

For the price, I of course won't complain. But that's my straight forward feedback.

Like you said, at least you got it for a good price . Maybe this + FCC would be good?

I felt using more powder and less liquid for shakes made it a legit yellow cake tasting protein.

I bought a bottle of his pwo and will never pay full price for it again.

Pump product does look decent though, aside from the S7 garbage.

Got my Cake Pop protein order in. Made a shake with it at lunch and it's enjoyable but not as much so as I was hoping. I do feel it can grow on me though and become better with more uses. It's their vanilla (which I really like and to me is like a white cake mix flavor already) and toned down a bit and added a bit of sweetness to get the frosting flavor in it. Only thing is for some reason seemed a bit "chalkier" then what I recall from my many tubs of every PES protein in the past. Maybe it's just I have not had in a while. I made it with ice and fairlife milk.

Look at the rest of the pump supplements out there. Many of them have all of that in or even quality doses? Pricey but I got 10% off so that helped.

I didn't even consciously think about it not mixing a color/red. I have other pres as well as energy drinks that aren't colored (and some that were but no longer are, looking at you C4)...no added colors seems to be fairly common now. I suppose I'd choose that, what the **** do I care what color it is?

I know people who would know have said that color is a significant factor in how people perceive flavor, and I get that...but I'm not even thinking about flavor until I'm drinking it and at that point I'm not looking at it any more.

Unless it's a greens product that is green or brown, that psychology gets me lol but otherwise IDGAF

Absolutely not isolated and this isnt just cows, all livestock in these large corporations are similar. Used to deliver feed to hog barns. Every morning at alot of barns there was huge roll out dumpsters full of dead pigs more times than not.

I may be in the minority here, but I do think we should rethink how we treat livestock. I eat meat, and think that everyone should, but I also think we should have respect for the life we take, not to mention prevent as much waste as possible. These animals deserve to live in good conditions, even if they're being harvested for consumption.

It's hard to accomplish when the demand is so strong due to our population constantly increasing. It's also hard to support alternatives to factory farming when you live in a city; I'd have to take a drive and spend a lot more not only on gas, but the meat itself, in order to buy from local farmers who respect their animals. Complicated world we live in.

Does anybody supplement with collagen? I've never supplemented with it but read about the health benefits and was just curious what all your thoughts were on it. Waste of money or not?

My shakers are blue or black, so I can't even see what color my supps are
