Lifestyle. I need more support for running, Saucony Triumph ISOs are my go-to.
I've only tried on and walked around the store in the Ultra and NMDs. I feel like the Pure were more comfortable than the Ultras at about half the cost. NMDs felt cheap but they make a ton of nice color ways.
These are the ones I have https://hypebeast.com/2017/1/adidas-...ider-interview

Sorry to hear about the shoulder surgery and shoulder injuries such as roator cuff are the worst
I've been dealing with one since 2016 when I sustained my first ever shoulder injury and it was
a partial torn rotator cuff. I had 3 PRP injections that year which took away 95% of the pain
but a year later after an MRI it showed it was now a full tear so I did stem cells last Sept. and
I just had a new MRI and I'm back to a partial tear so the stem cells have helped somewhat but
I've been training smart for the past 6 months so that's helped a bit.
Hopefully the surgery goes well and just do whatever you need to do to help rehab it
but as you mentioned it takes a LONG time to come back after shoulder surgery that's
why I've been doing everything I can to avoid going under the knife.

Thanks superhuman. Yeah I almost don't want to have it done since lifting is a huge part of my life for staying in shape and right now I am mostly satisfied with my muscle tone and body but just going to have it done for long term, hopefully, shoulder health. Of course I always want more size, to be more ripped and be stronger. Of course I have a multitude of other parts that could use or will need surgery eventually.
Saw your comments about calories and yep, first thing I am already thinking about. Going to be a lot of chicken breast and low calorie protein powders and options. Going to miss indulging in ice cream and other higher calorie snacks like I do when training. I'll be biking and doing other forms of cardio as much as possible.
After the reviews of the OL protein I for sure want the gingerbread but not so excited about the others despite the good words. A stated not a fan of fruity flavors or coffee. The chocolate peanut butter didn't sound so amazing as was hoping. Also with no real need for supplements (huge stash as is plus surgery recovery downtime) for quite some time might just hold off.
I take back my original thoughts on the L&L cookie, it sounds pretty good so hope it delivers. The Apple Pie was real good so hope this is as well.

I picked up some Amnesia and more good old Fade Out. Who will win?
I was a runner through high school. Never competitive. PR's were 5:23 mile, :56 400m, 19:00 5k. Then about 5 years later, after I started lifting weights and stopped running much, I ran 400m in 62 seconds officially a couple times, and 1.5 miles in about 11 minutes. Oye
I probably wouldn't want to try that again now, as it would most likely be even more disappointingLast edited by Farley1324; 10-16-2018 at 11:34 AM.

I don't know much about what constitutes a "good time" for a runner, but those seem like good numbers. When I ran, I would just run for time (45-90 minutes) and not track distance, or I'd do hill sprints. Just enjoyed the mental aspects.
Haven't gone for a distance run in ages, but something tells me I wouldn't last these days. On the plus side, since focusing strictly on strength based work, my knees have improved tenfold. Heavy squatting honestly feels super healthy for my knees after the years of running. Used to always have knee pain, now I never experience it. *knock on wood*Squat and Deadlift
