Strength purposes that are in relation to hypertrophy depending on the individuals training style. If I typically do 8 reps of 315 but know the bottom is a sticking point, work on the bottom of my pressing with brands, and then I'm now doing 12 reps of 315, that's hypertrophy purposes

eeeeeeeehhhhhhh, meh, I dunno, I guess lol. Haven't read much in relation to bands vs other methods when it comes to pushing past sticking points from a hypertriphy perspective. Bands wouldn't help the bottom sticking point though, they'd help the top since it's around the half way point is where the bands start to add noticeable tension, and it get's harder from there till movement is complete. I'd say pause bench gonna help most for bottom sticking point.Squat and Deadlift

Gorilla Mode was surprisingly underwhelming, but gonna give the tub a shake and try it again. Mixibility is awful though, I will say that. There is something in that pre that simply does not dissolve.
As far as bands go, I don't use them to add resistance to a lift which seemingly is the main topic at hand. I go through a whole warm-up routine with bands before lifting though. Low impact resistance training to get things going.

I used bands as a finisher a couple years ago for pretty much every bodypart but legs and it really didn't make a difference in my physique. Crazy pumps and muscles burning crazy AF but no real difference seen.
Now just straight traditional lifting, but I am strategic with exercise order and picking exercises early for activation which really changed my leg and shoulder workouts.Progressive overload + progressive eating = gains. Simple as that!

Not sure if anyone is looking for a spin bike, but this is a hell of a deal, $130 for this one. I have it, works great, wish I'd gotten it for this price though.

1/13/16: Massive hernia.
5/10/16: Finally back to lifting, light but improving.
